i  saw some November 30 Approvals on app , BUT!! 

there are still   Hundreds of November cases left to process  from November  4 and up

Depends sometimes,   maybe someone else can provide you accurate answer 

but ,  normally , they should  Change case status to Approved usually within few days of approving ? ,  Maybe in your case they'll change status when they send to NVC ?  like " case sent to NVC "

Actually, they never changed our case status on the USCIS website or on our apps....we only found out through calling, and eventually getting the letter in the mail. No email or text messages, either.

NVC is taking an average of 9-11 weeks, so don't worry. After ten gruesome months, that time will fly by.

P.S. There is a wonderful group called something like NVC (Enter your month here) Scan Dates. Make sure you read the helpful post about how to avoid a checklist at NVC Stage....for instance, the country specific embassy page for our embassy has outdated info about the correct documents needed....they list a now useless police clearance letter from the local police (it is actually got from INTERPOL now), and the wrong form of birth certificate (we recently got National birth certificates). Make sure you are following people from your country who recently were approved or who are a few steps ahead of you. Join the most current NVC Scan Date thread

that's it, sending redbull cases to Lincoln, Nebraska. Maybe they don't have them there.

hi all.....i was just going through the uscis updates and found that a new i-130 form has come now  and it was released somewhere in the end of February and it will be effective from April. We had filled out the old i-130 form and it was submitted in the first week of march. Now is that going to affect our processing??

I do not think so, if you sent out the application and they gave you a uscis number receipts it won't affect you at all.

Thanks for keeping us updated.  The date on VJ timeline now shows December 1st, 2016.  I have noticed a lot of applications from November that still have case received status as well. Hopefully some cases will be transferred to other centers.

I had a panic attack that I missed filling out the 130a form, but later found that, it is effective for filers only after april 2017. Whew.

I saw some late November and one Dec 1. I am hoping things speed up. But on average looks like it is taking 8 months now for approval for cases in Nebraska. 225 days waiting as of today for me.

yah seeing those approvals on app ,  you are really close on your Approval man , being December 12 PD , you should hear something within few weeks or at very late before August ends    hang in there almost  out of this Nebraska Black Hole

Yes, hopefully soon. I am hanging on, waiting, nothing else I can do. It will feel like a ton of bricks lifted off of my shoulders when I finally get out of the Nebraska Black Hole lol.

I've been checking this number someone posted,

Lots of Nov 29th and none of them have been processed yet.

As a slight glimpse of hope, they don't always update things right away so its possible these get updated after the fact.
