at least at NVC stage you are constantly doing something for most part haha , no 6 month gap

I am so happy to see some of the October and previous months finally getting your approvals. It has been paining us to come on and see that some of you are still waiting.

We are in the process of filing a medical expedite because I unfortunately got into an accident here in Uganda, and we have not been able to get good medical care. It took us over 30 hours just to get 1st Aid. We will keep you all updated on the process and results.

you are close hang in there buddy,  looks like by your Timeline , your RFE was sent on  6/ 23   so they usually take  around 1-2 months for RFE , you are almost there  will hear good news anyday :)

here are the rough weekly Round up of the cases I am tracking 

 

lot more cases from November 10,15, 17 , 21 , 27 get  approved  

 

and there are still lots and lots of cases  in November  waiting for approvals or RFE's   ranging from November 10-27  

 

I have yet to see any December approvals still

It is ridiculous that they continue to be stuck in November. 

Is anyone else hopeful that December and January will be processed a little bit faster? 

I get that they had a lot of backlog from November but dear Lord.

Also hoping that the NVC stage won't take you as long.

I just got approved on Thursday an I didn't have any RFE's (one day after going into my 10th month). I'm just hating the long wait for some while others go through fast. At the end of the day nothing happens before the time its suppose to

I am so sorry you had to wait this long, you are right, some people get approved in half the time, some wait longer and we don't really know why. Background checks? clerical errors? additional processing? who knows. I'm glad you finally got approved and I wish you a speedy NVC process!
