I agree, that's not okay. Nebraska is the slowest Center and it looks like they are moving backwards. They were on 27th Nov, but they moved back to 21st Nov 2016.

Case says READY but consulate says case is not in system, I jumped the gun and booked an interview but they say its invalid until I receive the letter so I might have to cancel it.

Appointment Letter: Flew to Juarez just to get this, its actually 2 letters you need.

Interview Day: Jan 2nd   Interview Result: APPROVED

Tracking Number Received: Via email notice and website the afternoon of Jan 4th    Visa Delivered: Friday Jan 5th Mexico City

USCIS Notice - Green Card mailed: 3/28/18

Incredible that over a month later they're still stuck on November.

 

But I'm guessing because of the change of president and not knowing what was going on a lot of people probably filed that month.

I'm just surprised they didn't do a bunch of transfers like they did a few months ago.

I understand the feeling. I wish i could still travel to see my husband but i was stopped so he has to be doing the travelling, been here twice this year already....

  • 12/03/21      I drove 3 hours for my interview only to be told my file wasn't there and I'd have to be rescheduled for another interview. they weren't sure if it would be possible before the holiday. He even said he wasn't sure why they didn't do both interviews that very day when i did removal of conditions interview.

  • 02/14/22.      Passed my interview. Now await oath ceremony.

They just updated the processing times, if you're stuck at Nebraska and your PD is November 15 or later,i strongly suggest you file inquiries, call USCIS and demand  to speak to a Tier2 or supervisor, or make an infopass appointment, they are now required to tell you what is holding your case. At least you'll know. Also contact your congressman,in our case it really helped.

Unreal! All this time has passed and they only moved 15 days. I feel horrible for everyone that lives away from their partner.

I checked my timeline and it says that my consulate is in Armenia? We live in Australia. Does anyone know why it says that?

Anyone knows what is the latest and greatest case that has been approved from Nebraska besides VJ's timeline? I know some folks are tracking using certain apps on phones, so just wondering if any news from there.

Here's cases so far for today according to my App

 

Nov 17 PD - Case was Received to Case Was Sent to the Department of State

Nov 23 PD - Case was Received to Request for Evidence 

 

There was also one Nov 14 PD - Case was Approved to Case Sent to the Department of State

This is just a website someone put up not an official source, that's a bug in the website, I have the same thing.

Case sent to consulate: 11/20/2017     Received by consulate: 11/21/2017 (11/20 was a holiday in Mexico)

Interview Scheduled: Jan 2nd - I managed to get someones canceled appointment the very same day my case status turned to Ready.

Biometrics: Mexico City Dec 27th Medical: Mexico City Dec 28th

Case says READY but consulate says case is not in system, I jumped the gun and booked an interview but they say its invalid until I receive the letter so I might have to cancel it.

Appointment Letter: Flew to Juarez just to get this, its actually 2 letters you need.

Interview Day: Jan 2nd   Interview Result: APPROVED

Tracking Number Received: Via email notice and website the afternoon of Jan 4th    Visa Delivered: Friday Jan 5th Mexico City

USCIS Notice - Green Card mailed: 3/28/18

Yes, it's the expectation, but a lot of cases get past that date due to several delays.  I've seen cases here that get delayed very badly, one was delayed for nearly three years. Others get approved super fast, you never know.
