I'm at the 5 month mark and I knew it'd be around 7 months, but 9...? that's almost a whole year just for someone to open your file! I know it's not supposed to be personal, but it's hard not to take it that way sometimes.

I'm happy you got your approval fcl I bet it feels amazing despite it all. And Mr Hanky, I hope you get yours really soon.

Thanks,

Yeah i know what you mean, it's so frustrating, specially since there are still at least 5 people here from October waiting, there's even people from september waiting, it's not fair.   You are right, it feels awesome.  Hopefully you'll get your approval very soon.

wha the hell :( I am so , so sorry guys. What were the RFEs about and how long does it take USCIS to process after you reply to them?

this is so shocking and completely unfair. 10 months... while most that sent their documents at the same time, especially in other service centers  get approved in five or even less. I wish I could give you both a big hug right now

That's crazy.  I've read that NVC takes forever to process to, they constantly  lose documents and sends checklists, that add up to 11 weeks of waiting... it's hard not to take it personally. Sometimes it really feels like they're trying to break us in the process.

Can I ask what specifically was wrong with your G-325A? I ask because on mine, silly me forgot to print my name on the very bottom section of the form in the rectangular field that says "Print your name here" I accidentally left mine blank. I have been worried it will cause an RFE. I posted about it here before and some people said RFE, others said probably not a big deal as long as the form was signed.

I mean G-325A. I prefer being in at the NVC instead waiting to be approved. Because at lease I can tell when my case can be completed if check lists or not and  I can know when everything be done.

USCIS is the same way they does list documents too.

i least I know many weeks  to counts but with USCIS Geee we have to wait wait wait and wait and on top of that we can't even say when we will get approved.
