Hi friends my case is now 240 days still waiting for approval. .....plz any idea on what to do..........it's not easy seeing others that we first submit getting approved

Were at 255 days. Contacted congressman, they replied very quickly, we're still at Security Background checks with the FBI. They told us we need to wait, congressman said they will be on top of it. 

Contact your congressman, you could also set up an infopass appointment to speak with an officer about your case status. Although you'll probably get the generic response of: "you are within normal processing times".

Search for your congressman on google, visit his website where you can find his address and a form you have to fill and sign to give them permission to handle your information (USCIS). Visit them, they will ask for the form and ask general questions about your case. They will contact you when they have information about your case. 

I looked at your timeline, and since you are "within normal processing times" at Nebraska https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do;jsessionid=bacXD1OC9RCyFagQNRyeu , if you contact your congressman they will probably get the infamous response of "the case is currently under normal processing time".

That is unacceptable, were stuck in Nebraska too, 256 days, was your case delayed due to Background checks?

End up getting RFE In March they resend it back to uscis because the mail couldn't be delivered then they mail it again, April 14 they received our RFE then June 6 they mail another RFE and now am waiting for them to change the status to RFE was received.

We did all that. When we requested information as to why our case was gone over the time, the tier 2 supervisor said it pushed our case back 60 days. So we won't hear anything until august
