My I-130 was APPROVED!!!! 6:00 am received a text!!!teo and a half months after they received our RFE!!! now waiting for I-212 approval! Keep the faith everyone! I am and this process is downright brutal!!!! Praying for all of us!

Wow! Congratulations! How long did the entire process take for you? Also which processing centre were you assigned to. 

I'm so homesick. My dad is not well and I want to move back to the US ASAP but I need to wait for my husband to get approved. My PD is Jan 11 and still haven't heard anything. 😣 I'm thinking I might fly back to the U.S. with my husband to see him if this takes much longer. Does anyone know if you can travel to the US with a pending I-130?

Hi! Sorry, I'm new in this forum. I'm so happy I found it. It's been a world of knowledge. We've been waiting for 6 months now and I want to be really prepared for the next step to make things run smooth and quicker. What type of documents would you need to prepare for the NVC? I read about a police check down the page but what else should we have ready?

couple things pop in my mind is 

You could have the I-864 filled out and ready 

also gather the Tax Transcripts , Employment letters, and Pay Stubs 

also ,you'll need Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate , and Police Clearance Certificate  ( all in English translated if not in English )

Thank you so much @harsh2010 ! I really appreciate the info. We've both been living in Australia for 5 years so do you think they want tax transcripts and employment letters from here? Sorry I'm still trying to get the hang of this website.

Note they'll request photocopies of the supporting documents, you won't need to send originals.

I'm not sure letter of employment is as important but most recent pay stubs would be, just think if you got a letter now, that doesn't mean you're still employed by the time you actually submit the package, and the pay stubs themselves will show paid year to date.

VERY IMPORTANT THING TO KEEP IN MIND: I-864 current version expires at the end of July 2017.

please be aware of this fact as it could delay your process if you use an outdated form

I'm sure that if an updated version is not available by July 31, 2017, the expired version can still be used.
