Well, according to VJer's timelines, it seems NSC is currently processing Oct 23, 2016.

Our case took a little over 6 months while others whom are lucky and got their case approved earlier.

Once it's approved and sent to NVC, the process is alot quicker.

While you wait, perhaps start gathering all the required documents for the NVC stage.

Yes, it's hard to be away from your other half, but it'll be all worth it in the end :) Stay positive, Good luck!

Mary Lou, why are you torn between calling? What have others experienced? My PD is 12/12/16 and I said I would wait and call next month as it will be 6 months.

Some  people have said it's been difficult to speak to a Tier 2. I'm not calling to talk to the operators reading off script, it will just be more aggravating.

Well jakelake we are at 6 and a half months. Where have you seen it for normal processing times?

Click on the timeline on your profile.

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between May 19, 2017 and May 27, 2017*.

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

Oh yeah I check it every day and all it's doing is adding days. When I filed they said March it would be adjudicated 😑

Hi,

How do you check your timeline. Are you referring to timeline in Visa Journey site or on the official uscis.gov website ? I am aware of the timeline on Visa Journey. Wondering if there is something I am missing on the gov website.

Guys, just a friendly advice from the heart, to alleviate stress. The VJ timeline does not apply to all cases.  In my case it was off like by over 2 months I think. Basically, I had to stop looking at it because it was giving me really bad anxiety.

It is much safer to go by the USCIS information  Altough I was given this same advice from the start I didn't want to believe it because I saw so many cases being processed fast,  so I hoped mine would be as well. But all cases are different. And some people do get lucky and get processed faster, but those are exceptions.

By the way, when you contact them to enquire about your case they will go by their own official  timelines, not the VJ one.

Good luck!

The only problem is that the USCIS website has not updated. The site is still referring to cases being processed for August 30, 2016.

Also, when you say that your case was off by over 2 months, what do you mean? Did you get approved 2 months sooner or 2 months later?

You have not really provided any information that would assist anyone who is still waiting for approval.
