Thank you very much! Do you file through E-mail process?

Yeah, so we filed with email processing and I recommend it to all who have it available to them. Even though NVC is much faster than USCIS, there is still a 10 week wait there, and if you get a checklist (NVC version of RFE) then your time is reset for another 10 weeks. With email, you can get a checklist and still be done in 3 weeks.

I didn't find out about email processing until right before we filed. I am glad I found out in time, because of how much time it saves. I think it should be mentioned a lot more because it makes a huge difference.

Hi Folks,

New to this thread. I noticed some applications from late Sep getting NOA2 approved. Has Nebraska started moving now?

This is a CR1 Visa thread. It looks like you filed for removing conditions.

It is available for some countries to send their documents via E-mail, not by mail as most of us do. there is a country list somewhere on the nvc website, but seeing you're from Sweden, it won't be possible for you to do it... I think the only European country that has EP is Germany....

I have created this list of all the countries that currently offer email processing:

ADD = Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

AKD = Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

AMM = Amman, Jordan

BGH = Baghdad, Iraq

KEV = Kyiv, Ukraine

MRV = Monrovia, Liberia

MTL = Montreal, Canada

PHP = Phnom Penh, Cambodia

RDJ = Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

SYD = Sydney, Australia

TGG = Tegucigalpa, Honduras

THT = Tashkent, Uzbekistan

If your country is not on this list, you will need to mail the documents to NVC.

I have applied for I130 while on removal proceedings, the process is same. Just that both me and my spouse are in States. NOA1 11/17/16

It may be the same application but your case involves removal proceedings.

I would guess that it's a different process and timeline.

Does VJ mentions processing time for that? Should I look for another thread?

Well...mine took 212... started on Sept 12, 2016 and NOA2 approved on April 13, 2017... Seven long months! Lets see now in NVC. Is kind of confusing this process, is like a slow death... why they dont ask to fill all document as once and not like a ballet... step by step!?
