Hi Tcy, can you share the link for the processing website.

Hi dear, Below is the Link to it. Scroll down and select NSC (Nebraska Service Centre ) and click on service center processing dates. You'll get to see the latest dates list

In my opinion they're just trying to show that they are being more efficient as they've reached jan files so that they can show they're catching up with other service centers. But that's misleading because lot of Dec and November filers and few other filers who filed earlier than us are still waiting to get our approval.  l'm  tracking at least 120 cases filed on same date as mine and these are yet to be approved . Just imagine how many more are still pending in that entire DEC month :( Why don't they clear up whats pending and do things in orderly and systematic manner...Its good that lot of jan filers are getting NOA 2 or atleast hearing from them but then what about us?? To me it looks like they're just jumping and probably randomly choosing files without caring about the emotional trauma and torture we all are having to go through.

Then they've completely overtaken December :(

Yes that's what it seems :( I wish they were as efficient as they're trying to portray themselves.

haha thanks! you have to keep the humor, or else this will drag you down.

I was excited and then saw them roll back to December, NO. NEBRASKA, WHAT YOU DOING, STAAAP.

I hope that's the case for you guys :)

I saw that VJ did in fact roll back but I thought it strange seeing that the official website was in fact processing January cases and members here from January were getting approval.

Sometimes I try to keep the humor but it's hard especially when hubby ask what dates they are processing. This week I could finally say January and I could hear his voice lift. He often says I need to come to my home. It's never his home but my home and all I do is visit but it's nice that he says it. Yesterday he called and said I can't wait for you to be home. I think he has finally started his count down.

He even went as far as askin if he needs to provide anything else for the next phase. Yeah I know that he is petitioner but I am organizer so I have him gather all needed for NVC stage. I just need his last 6 months pay studs and my police record and we are set.

Please start gathering your documents and gave your hubby do the same. Ensure he gets his taxes up to date if not. These little things will delay the process.

On October 18th there the US government will impose new travel restrictions:

"

President Donald Trump has signed a proclamation imposing strict new restrictions on travelers from a handful of countries, including five that were covered by his expiring travel ban. Administration officials say the new measures are required to keep the nation safe.

The indefinite restrictions apply to citizens of Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen and North Korea. As part of the presidential proclamation signed Sunday, the U.S. will also bar the entry of certain Venezuelan government officials and their immediate families."

There is also will as of October 18th start collecting social media information from permanent residents and naturalized citizens to include alias, search results.

Changes are here and I bet there are more on it's way. The information can be found at the following links

Just sharing what I see online. Information is knowledge and knowledge is power.

I feel for you, Nyokie.  If you don't mind, is there anything specific to your case that might have delayed it this long?
