Hello everyone, I haven't heard back from anyone but remember that sometimes no news, it good news. The sources that received all the numerous emails will first look into the complaints and address us last as that's just how it is.. This organization that I use to send money to my husband and every time I turned around they were holding it up or requesting documents from me of this and that and mind you I'm married and have rights to send my husband money, so I got angry 1 time it was held up and I sent them not the most nicest letter and they corrected the problem, but guess what, they never responded back to me. So I say all this because most won't respond back and why? Because we are dealing with Government, so let's do our best to stay positive, keep faith and don't let anyone defeat us... Everyone have a good day!

Let the sun shine through🌕🌝

Well guys, we've officially hit 300 days of waiting. It's extremely depressing to know that we are only 65 days shy of one year...I want to contact my local congressman or senator but don't really know how to go about it. Can anyone advise me on the best option? I'm from Florida and really don't know who to contact or what to even say to them. Any advice would be appreciated.

Also, why does it seem like there have been relatively no approvals lately? What the hell is going on?

Sorry to inform you but I write him also and he didnt have any success with mine. Also my PD is march 9th with Nebraska, they told him/them at the office that we are still with the time frame. I can show my letter that I write to him. And a letter he send back to me in Mail. Hopefully it works for you.

I didn't write Senator Nelson to intervene or check on my case. I wrote him about the inefficiencies of the Nebraska Service Center and that its processing methodology needs to be looked into. I have no problem waiting my turn, I do however, have a problem with Nebraska turning a 5-6 month process into a process of 10+ months. Congress enacted the K-3 VISA to help over come these long wait times, but as we all know, USCIS has basically nullified this VISA type by not processing those in a timely manner. Congress also needs to look into why H1-B, other work VISAs, and student VISAs have a defined time line when they must be processed, but I-130s do not. Congress also needs to know why, up until this quarter, H1-B VISAs could get premium processing and an answer within 14 days, but our applications are shoved in a box somewhere until an employee decides to select our box to process it.

I wrote Senator Nelson in Florida to look into the inefficiencies of the Nebraska Service Center. I would also write Senator Rubio, but I get the impression that he would not care. I'm also considering writing my representative, Val Demmings. As I've said, I have no problem waiting my turn and do not want them to intervene on my behalf. I do however, want them to look into what is happening at the Nebraska Service Center. If you go back a few pages on this thread, I copied what I wrote to Senator Nelson.

Thanks for the fast reply and information. I did see what you wrote; however, unlike you I do want them to inquire on my behalf. I am currently out of 'normal processing time' (PD 12/6 - 3 days shy of 10 months waiting) and really don't even want to bother submitting an e-inquiry with USCIS because all you get is some generic response. Who knows if going through a state representative is better but I guess I feel more comfortable doing it that way.

Alexis9294,

Google who your local congressmen is for your county there in Florida. After you locate them then there should be a area where is shows a email address.

Express what you need to express. Slowness of NSC compared to other service centers and on and on.... Believe me when you start writing everything on your mind comes out, so write it... Keep your faith and many of us are well over 300 days and counting ...
