Well guys, here it is...we are officially out of normal processing times (PD 12/6). Can I ask all of you to share your experiences with filing an inquiry? I have heard so many mixed reviews. Some have said that submitting an inquiry pushes your case back by 30-60 days while others say that it does not. I want to do an inquiry but the last thing I want to do is push my case back even more. If that is the case, I won't bother with it.

Hi! thank you!
We only received a hard copy in the mail. The online status did not change yet.. I think USCIS might be quite slow updating the online part, but we received the hard copy in the mail yesterday. The tier 2 officer on the phone confirmed our case was approved on September 12, that was even before we received the notice in the mail. Good luck to you!!

Thank you! Hang in there, I hope they will approve your case soon Sundee!

Hi EvdH. My date is Jan 3rd. Do you think I should be calling regularly now if they can tell you over the phone you're approved, instead of waiting for the mail? I live in Israel and the mail is slow here. Also, did they tell you your case number over the phone or did you have to wait for the mail? Thanks!

here is the thing, my friend had her interview this morning and the money she got approved and was done with her interview few hours I will say 2 hours later they update her status.

therefore whenever they send approval letter and they track it to see when anyone received it then they update it from their computer.
