Lesable 20.

No it's impossible .you MUST get your medical exam before the interview. Just try again with one of the doctors otherwise your interview will be postponed .

Both Casablanca doctors provided by the consulate are booked for the next 3 weeks.

Hi Lesable,

I am in the same boat as u,

questions if you can help:

How long did it took to get a response from the day u submitted all your online documents?(for the case to be completed)

Also did u receive interview date or not yet!!!

To answer your question,

You don't have to wait until you get ur interview letter to get the medical exam done or at least make an appointment,

Please keep us posted,

I have submitted all the online documents and just waiting for the case to be completed.

Thanks from Casablanca :)

The counsluate just added another approved medical exam doctor to the list and I had the chance to book an appointment for July 8. And I have been told that he can take his exam the same day with him.

Hi all

I am filling out form DS260 for my relatives and they will review before submission, this is fine right?

I didn't get the link or know where to fill out DS160 (select an agent). Is this available in the CEAC website when I log in with my case and invoice #? I didn't see it.

Should my relatives in Vietnam apply for the VISA or my family here in the US apply for them? and is it at this website https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/? The link is in English i'm not sure if my relatives would be able to apply.

I assume this link https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ is where  we schedule for the exam before the interview and completion of DS260 form?

Please advise, thanks.

Michelle

Hi mmichele,

Are you filling DS-260 for Immigrant visa or DS-160 for Non-immigrant visa?

DS-261 is no longer required as all the documents are to be submitted online by the petitioner/principal applicant.

Either the petitioner or principal applicant can fill DS-260.

The link you mentioned is for DS-160, Non-immigrant visa.

Hi there

So basically, whatever CEAC website tells me to complete or do, i follow. When I log in, I see paying the fees, DS260 visa application form, and affidavit of support forms.

Are the steps on CEAC website is all I needed to follow? I don't know when the relatives should prepare for Medical examinations, pictures (2 2x2). Will that be after we submit the forms (DS260 and Affidavit support) and CEAC will tell us where to get examined and the pictures to submit?

Thanks

Hi Michelle,

Pls refer to the below link for the steps to be followed, except the DS-261 which is no longer required. One photograph will be required when you submit applicant's civil documents. Medical examination and 2 photos (2x2) will be needed after you receive the Interview appointment which is after step 6.

Hi, interview went well for my brother, she told him to wait about 2 weeks and he will get a text message to go pick up his passport. Few question about me (the sponsor) and she want to see family photos. He said that she was very nice. Hope that will help
