Hopefully soon. Let's hope it does not change to AP. Do you stop following up on NVC website after the interview is done? How do contact local embassy for status?

Hi All,

My Aunt sponsored my younger aunt under the F4 in 2015

PD date: Sep 2005

The petition was approved in 2010.  I have a the case number and Invoice Id Number

This PD date became current as per the dates for filing table on Via Bulletin for Dec 2018.  However, I cannot log on to the site:

I get the following message

"Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time."

Any ideas?

2nd question, My cousin who is a derivative beneficiary is studying in US while his mother (primary)  is in Pakistan.  Can my cousin do AOS while in US or does he have to go back to Pakistan?

In a family group the whole process depends on the primary beneficiary.    You can't process the benefit as a sub to the aunt until she is processing.  If she somehow doesn't get a visa the rest of the group are also not going to get one.  If you have valid status you can adjust in the states but the adjustment would be held until she has status.  (  The primary is supposed to enter before or at the same time as the rest of the group but because you are here it plays a bit different )

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Hello VJ Members,

My sister will be appearing for the F4 interview soon. She applied for a visit visa in 2017 and 2018 in order to visit our mother who was hospitalized during that time. Her visit visa was denied( probably due to pending F4). The CO never gave her any reason for rejection.

My question is that - Will it be held against her during her immigrant visa interview?

We have clearly mentioned in our IV application that her visit was denied twice.

Please chime in if any of you had a similar experience.

Thanks

My aunt’s case just got opened at NVC.

the petition and ceac has her maiden name.  How can she change it to her married name?

thsnks

Send an email to NVC and explain the situation. I had to do a similar change. They will probably ask you to send the latest passport image with the updated name.
