Just had my interview yesterday and everything went good and at the end of the interview CO told us the magical words your visa has been approved. Finally after a long long wait thank god.

Assuming that your niece was interviewed along with your sister, there is no need to worry about it.  Her age is locked when the your sister's case became current/interviewed.   CSPA is auto

Hi everyone . We have received our welcome letter PD DEC 2004. I am the derivative beneficiary who is over the age of 21 but I do meet CSPA criteria. My question is that my name is mentioned on ceac account so do I have to inform NVC about my case or should I just pay the fee and submit documents without telling NVC that I have aged out ? Kindly help

you don't need to mention it

whenever your interview will be conducted at that time they will calculate your CSPA.

 

I am still waiting for my welcome letter

Interview went well as they only asked here basic questions such as my age, how I got to US, my kids birthdays, when was the last time my sister and I saw each other.  Her kids were asked about their ambitions in US as well. 

 

My sister is now in AP, Advance Processing.  Some folks in this forum mentioned that almost all principle applicants have to go through AP after the interview.  Her status has not changed since the day of interview.  Lets see.

my priority date - 12 oct 2004 (India)

approval date - 27 july 2009

my d.o.b - 21 sept 1993

 

my concerns are -

is “approval date” a notice date on I-797 form?

when should i contact NVC about my CSPA approval?

My sister's case- receipt date is 25 Aug 2005 and notice date is Feb 5, 2010 from India. Any idea when will we start getting paperwork from NVC  for visa processing. And how about her kids cover under CSPA.

1st child DOB- Sept. 18, 1993

2nd child DOB- Nov. 08, 1995.

I will really appreciate the response.

Hi, did NVC already asked you to fill paperwork and fees.
