His pd is 30.08.2004

Open 7.05.2017

case compleet 21.18.17

Looks like he did not mention when he sent out documents to NVC. If his case is opened on May 7, he may have sent out docs sometimes in May. That would make the processing time well over 2 months.

PD nov 9th 2005 (F3)

Document sent July 10,2017

Case completed Aug 24, 2017

This is good news. Is the processing time same across all family categories? Tried to find it out at NVC website, but  no information related to this could be found. They mentioned upto 11 weeks for a case review. Hope the processing time is short now.

Anybody got CC letter?

If the petitioner is out of the USA 6 months before the interview will that be a problem at the time of interview?

Is your petitioner out of USA due to any reason? Is he/she moved out of USA permanently?

As per law family visa is reunite family visa so if ur relative moved out of usa permanently , it may create issue. Vo may ask why u why he/she not in US.

How old are your children?  How many years did it take your case to be approved?  My 25 years old cousin his visa under F4 with his parents. From India

This is what you need to find out.

1. Date when you case was filed which is your PD.

2. The date your case was approved

3. Your kids date of Birth

Use this link to see if your kids are covered under CSPA

Thanks for your reply. I have all the info and entered in the calculator. Both CSPA Age and age when visa became available is under 21, but it gives the notice in red that even if your cspa age is under 21, you have to "seek to acquire" permanent resident status whithin one year. You have waited too long.

What does it mean?

I am not sure what that means . You must have enter wrong day for something.  Are you sure entering the correct approval date?  Most people get confused about the approval date. Please double check your date again.

My cousin didn't get his name added onto file till 15 day before his parents interview. But he did managed to submit all his document and got his interview scheduled on the same day as his parents.
