NVC received Supporting Documents for my sister and her family on May 30th, 2017.

Today I received an NVC letter asking for Birth Certificate of my SIster's husband.  During my call with NVC a while ago, they mentioned, Passport can be used as valid Birth Date proof.

They are also asking for Original Marriage Certificate in Native Language though I have provided a certified copy of the same in Native(Urdu) and English language from Issuing agency, NADRA.

Yes, Birth Certificate is required. Also for documents that are not in English, a photocopy of both original document and English translated document needs to be sent together. Do not send an original document as they will not return them back.

It's almost end of the month. Anyone have any info on IL for September, please share. Hope we see some movement this month.

Also, does anyone know how long does the NVC take to complete cases these days? How do we know if our case is completed? Do we get the IL directly or we get some kind of case complete notice before it's sent to Consular Office abroad?

You'll get your CC letter before interview will be scheduled.

You will receive case complete email first. Then if your date is current/going to be current in next bulletin, your interview dates gets fixed around 29-30 th of the month. If your case is complete u can call them around 30th to know ur interview date. Official email for IL comes late.

Hi everyone. I received case complete email almost a month ago. No more email communication after that. In ceac website also it still shows at NVC

1.Is there any action required by me to do except waiting?

2.Should i make account in visa appointment site or not yet?

3. There is aged out and unmarried child in our case, after requesting cspa, nvc told us final decision will be made in interview day, any advise to help us getting him gc along with us?

Thanks.

If you already received an email from NVC you don't have to do anything else.  You will get an interview once your PD current or couple days before the visa bulletins changes. Our family f4 case was completed for at least for 4 months before they got their interview.  They also had over 21 son who was cover under cspa. They didn't do any of his paperwork till after his parent's interview was scheduled.  But he was able to get everything done and had his interview on the same day as his parents. He paid his visa fee at the time if his interview

Here are some tips

If you know your over 21 kids are covered under CSPA law,

You should have all their documents ready.  I mean get there PPC and passport up to date.

Have your petition send a signed AOS for  your kids (original not a emailed copy)

By the can you please tell me how many days did nvc take to  your completed.  I meant time from the time your send your documents in to the time your received email saying case completed

Thanks for your reply. Actually my pd have been current since long time ago, i got multiple checklist thats why it took time for the case to be completed.

The children are 30, 28 and 23 years old and unmarried. After requesting nvc to apply cspa, only the youngest one got invoice and ds 260 opened for him. The other 2 children name is in the ceac website but inftont of their names written : not applicable, not available.
