In my recent experience with Fess Payment, it is better to wait until you are invoiced.  I paid the fees without receiving invoice email from NVC and my payment went into lala land.  I had to wait 12 days to get that fixed.

How long does the NVC take to send the invoice, does someone have any experience with that? -- On Friday they emailed me to let me know that they will send me the invoice *shortly* -- but haven't gotten anything yet. Online my name appears, but only on first page, not the invoice page.

my nephews were invoiced 3-7 days after their name appeared on the login page.

Thank you! I hope i receive it by the end of the week. I'm so happy that NVC decided to add my name to the case, and I can process the case now with my parents, instead of having to wait and doubt everything!

Anyway after you pay it takes further some days to say PAID on site.

 

Earlier I paid before invoice came n i didnt had any issues whatsoever.

Other people who still has long waiting time to their case. They should send the email NOW to add their kids name. Case open is NoT require to add kids name.

How long did they take to add your name ? I have been waiting for 7 weeks to add 3 derivatives

After 261 form and petitioners fees payment..what is the next step..should the fees for applicant and beneficiaries be paid before filling 260 form?? and what is an IV form should it be filled separately  for each person..confused??

you need to fill DS-261 for each family member (Applicant, spouse, derivative-kids).

 

while you are filling out these forms, you and/or petitioner should send AOS forms and other civil documents in one packet to NVC.   I am saying in one packet based on suggestions in this forum.

When you send these forms attached the checklist and cover sheet that you can find on CEAC website after paying $120 dollars.

 

OR 

You can fill out forms for each family member and submit them.

Then, collect all required civil documents based on the Checklist you received in your welcome letter.  Collect financial document such as bank letters, Affidavit of Support from petitioner, and send all of these to NVC with the AOS Coversheet.  You can print AOS cover sheet from you login page.

UPDATE:

 

Got payment invoice today (was told from friday that i will get them shortly) -- I paid them, will update how long it takes for the DS260s to be fillable.
