Hi guys

My application is under f3 and I am expecting my welcome letter in next couple of months,my question is related to police clearance certificate.

I was born in India and currently I am Canadian citizen and my lawyer asked me get police clearance for both countries. Does anyone have experience how to get Indian police clearance if you are Canadian citizen

Thanks in advance

The DoS website is your friend

1 details of what civil documents you need (your lawyer is right about this, but you should never just rely on a lawyer) https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/collect-and-submit-forms-and-documents-to-the-nvc/step-5-collect-supporting-documents.html

My PD is 18June 2007 which is current in the 2nd chart. Should I call NVCfor Invoice ID right away?

Can some one guide me through what they ask over phone call? That'll be helpful.

Interview complete and visa approved. Pick up one week after. Process was simple. Questions were about  the petitioner.

Congratulations
