I  am not sure how long it will take to remove your sister's profile, We mailed in the AOS and all civil documents and it took them 9 days to review the case (from the day we mailed it in)

Our case has been submitted completely today (5 June 2018).

My sister profile hasn't still got removed I just change her status from (ACCOMPANY) to (FOLLOW TO JOIN). After which I was able to submit civil documents.
It was simple mistake, I had I known before 6 days wouldn't have been wasted.

Thanks for the reply I hope they take 9 days to review our case also,as our priority date might get current in July Bulletin.

The CSPA child is already in US (on F1 visa). Does he need to go to India at the time of his parents’ interview or can he adjust the status in US without visiting India.

I have heard that there is one case which CSPA child can adjust his status in US and did not need to go back to his country. He should apply for CSPA and his parents complete the interview in India, also notify the Consular about him, then he can contact USCIS in US and apply I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status form.

Excellent. Thank you so much for the info. Does the CSPA files for Adj of Status “before” or “after” his parents’ interview?

Hi,

my son is attaining age 21 on 1st october, 2018. After getting all paper work done, can he travel after that date OR he has to enter USA before that date?

His parents must pass their interview, and notify the Consular Officer that their son is studying in US. AFTER his parents got Immigrant visa, he can apply the Adj of status form to get an immigrant visa in US later. (He must got an CSPA approval by the time of the interview).

Please note that the Consular Officer has an ultimate decision about this. You should check with the Consular Officer at the time of interview to ensure a proper procedure, as well as papers needed. They will guide you and your son through this.

In case they ask your son to go back to the country, as long as his CSPA is valid, he can go back to India for his interview and get the visa later.

P/S: You can call the NVC or email them via this NVC Inquiry form https://secureforms.travel.state.gov/ask-nvc.php to ask them about this, they will answer after 3 weeks.

Hey everyone,  what's the latest. ? No visa bulletin yet...hopefully tomorrow that comes out...what's going on with everyone else. ..

Hey May2006,  Hopefully by tomorrow and , also, will be nice if we see a 6 weeks or more movement.

Regarding my Nephew's case,  the AOS for Petitioner was missing, I sent it in and they confirmed it was received on June 5th - they are still reviewing the case. Hope to hear the case is completed by next week.

What's up with your case? Did the sponsor send in the W-2s.
