If W2s has both husband n wife's name r both of them required to sign affidavit of support forms. ? Or can 1 of them sign as financial sponsor. ? Anyone has knowledge. ?

Hi May2006,

The W-2 it self will only have one name and Social Security Number , if the husband and wife are filing taxes jointly you are required to send in W-2s of both husband and wife but it is not necessary for both of them to sign the Affidavit of Support as long as the one person (financial sponsor) income meet the poverty guideline.

I am the financial sponsor for my nephew's family, so I called the NVC to find our if my husband need to sign the Affidavit of Support form / fill out a AOS form and the above information was given to me.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks a lot

Hi,

My PD June 19, 2006

Received Welcome Letter: April 2018

How can I add my daughter's name? Is it after filling up ds 260 or before that. My lawyer is filling up the form ds 260 but the status shows incomplete and NVC has not yet asked for my daughter's (23 months old) processing fee.

waiting for suggestions.

Hello friends,

Yesterday night I called to nvc to know the status of my documents which they got on 15th of this month, surprisingly they have finished review of my documents, means they really have less no of cases.... In 4 days just they finished review, they told me there is 2 minor mistakes in both I864 and I864a so needed that rectification, I immediately asked my parents about this, ....nvc also told me they will be sending checklist of my mistakes in both forms....

Send an email to nvc with a copy of her birth certificate and ask that they add her to the filing. I guess she was not born when your intial paperwork was sent in. So they don't know anything about her.

You must send a request email to nvc to add your child's name. so, you will get the proper response. You must attach Child's Birth Certificate ( in english ), passport copy ( if passport is ready). Mostly you shall get the reply withing 12-15 days. So put all questions in the email, whatevr doubts you have. Because, every time it will take 12-15 days to answer and your file progress will be delayed. Once you get the proper answer from NVC, you may proceed for the next steps.

During filling DS 260, you can also child details.

Hi Friends,

I need an urgent advice. I need PCC from other countries where I lived 10-15 years back like - Poland, Nepal, Paris.. Can anyone tell is there any agency (or agent or representative) who can facilitate getting PCC from those countires.

Secondly, how to make payments to them?

Regards
