Have try calling NVC? Do you have you invoice ID #. If yes yoi should be able to log on and check it it will let you log on. I was able to log on before we received WL.

My mom who is the petitioner is going to call this week to ask NVC for our invoice number, but shouldn't we have received already the welcome letter by mail?

Call again, get another representative, who will provide you your Invoice ID, also tell them your email address, if you haven't provided it yet, probably that's why you haven't received your WL.

You are the applicant and they should be able to provide you the information.  All they need from is your case# your name,  your name , your date of birth and your mom's name and date if birth.  They should provide the info to you. You can  also send them an email.

Call them back, just say you called earlier  to inquiry about your WL and  the invoice # you were given is invalid. They should be able to get the correct # and start your paper work.

How old is your daughter?  She may have aged out (more than 21 years old).  If that is the case, NVC will apply CSPA law once your priority date becomes current.  Using CSPA calculations, NVC deducts the time it took USCIS to approve your application from aged out children.  So your daughter's age for visa processing will my much less.

You can search CSPA in the forum to get examples of how it works.

Okay I understand this, my daughter is 24 years old she would be 25 in november and it took 4 years and 9 months to get approved so she qualifies but since the priority date is not current then the CSPA can't be done yet.

my question is.. we have to make the payment of the fees but my daughter is not included so what do we do? we don't pay her fee ? or send her documents to NVC?

You can prepare her documents.

Some folks here say that NVC has activated visa forms for aged out children.  You can call NVC at 1-603-334-0700 or write an email to them to add your daughter; askNVC@state.gov.

I have tried emailing and calling them several times to add my nephews/neices but they did not.  They keep telling me to wait for Priority date to become current.  Once it is current they will apply it to all cases just became current.

Once they activate the application you can pay the fees and fill out application quickly.

Some VJ members have mentioned that the aged out kids were added during interview process.  They were asked to pay the fees at the embassy and fill out application on the spot and got Visa.

I hope this helps.

Okay thank you so much for this!

I called NVC she kindly said my daughter doesn't qualify because she is over 21, I told her that I thought she did under the CSPA review and she said alright send an email to askNVC@state.gov. and tell them that you don't agree with this decision.

I send them an email providing all of the information and letting them know that it took our case 4 years and 9 months to get approved and my daughter is now 24 years old and that she should qualify. I'm kind of worried now because what do I do now? Do I go ahead and process my fees and send my documents with out sending my daughters documents?:/

what is is your priority date ? and what are you planning on doing about your nieces and nephews situation?

did did you get a fast reply from askNVC@state.gov. ?

My Sister's priority date is August 26th 2010.

NVC takes at least 21 days to reply the emails.  So far they sent me generic message about my family members that I have to wait until the case gets current.

However, for some odd reason one of the NVC representative activate the application for one of my Nephew.  I paid his fees and my nephew completed his application.

Let's see what they reply to you.
