January 2017 I-130 (Family Petition) Filers

Also I have question about form i130

this is about filing for my parents (separately)

 

B.11 Name(s) of Prior Spouse(s) - I dont have any prior spouse.. but in entire form, do i have to put current spouse anywhere?

B.15 Name and address of present employer (if any) - is it US employer they're asking? and what if they have business in India?

C.17 - List spouse and all children of your relative. do I put my name in there?

 

do I write "N/A" where there's nothing to write? or leave it blank?

Yes u wait for approval and sometimes they ask you for some additional evidence

sent it on jan. 23 and goes to nebraska service center

That's awesome! I'm glad you got approved quick. Seems you're the first January applicant who got approved first. Hope we get more approval soon.

thats great, @soinlove20!! i wonder how fast the second step is for you. Where are your parents applying from?

I applied 4 days before you. But routed to Texas...still waiting.

My mom is currently in the philippines. It's a nerve wracking right now to wait for the next step  Good luck!

Hi there. New here. I'm a January filer, with my petition routed to TSC. And well, honestly speaking, so glad I found this forum. It's much easier waiting with someone who's in the same situation. Also, congratulations to that Jan. filer who got their approval. Pretty hopeful now! May we all get approvals soon!

Welcome @mal_! Indeed, it is! I've been checking everyday for my case status and processing times and it is driving me insane! but knowing that they are approving petitions means it's in progress, we just have to be really patient

B.15 Name and address of present employer (if any) - is it US employer they're asking? and what if they have business in India?

They want your current employment information (which you shouldn't be employed without a permit).  Owning a business back home is not counted here

C.17 - List spouse and all children of your relative. do I put my name in there?

The petitioner should list the name of immigrant spouse and that person's kids

do I write "N/A" where there's nothing to write? or leave it blank? Yes N/A, where possibe
