This is not showing correct information. I have already submitted all the documents. Still saying submit required documents.

Most of the time it says that until they have reviewed your documents and move to the next step.  If you have given them a call already to confirm they got them, then your part is to just wait out the process.   All the best.

Hi @Cupcakes16! You don’t need to submit original documents to the NVC as these documents need to be brought in to the interview. For IRS transcript, you can get it here:

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

good luck! 😊

Hello Jenna one more question I am trying to gather all my documents for the i-864 but came across the issue of IRS Tax Transcripts.

I tried logging in to the IRS Website to obtain the transcripts online but had an issue (got an error message) obtaining them because it seems that the IRS does not have my IRS Tax Transcript for this year because I recently filed my taxes three weeks ago.

I do have my last 3 years of W-2’s and 2015/2016/2017 tax returns so will those be sufficient along with my most recent pay stubs?

I am not sure if that is okay because I am not sure that if I request for the transcripts via mail that it would take longer for me to send the i-864 since I want to process this asap.

Your responses are greatly appreciated!

Hello Everyone,

I have a question to those who may have came across this petitioning both their Father and Mother as a US Citizen.

I am at the stage of sending the i-864 forms to NVC for each of my parents. However, I only paid for my Father’s AOS Fee $120 because I saw on the NVC Website (and was confirmed by an officer when I called them) that since they are filed separately but concurrently, I only needed to pay the fee once.

Upon payment, I received the AOS cover letter which would go on front of the entire application. However, for my mother, since I did not pay a fee, she does not have that receipt/cover letter.

My question is to those who have similar cases, what did you send for the secondary application, I was told the checklist is sufficient but I just wanted to hear if someone else encountered my situation.

Thank you for reading my question and your expected reply.

Wait for NVC's email as  they will provide you with your case number and invoice id. You can then choose an agent and pay your fees. :)

Hi guys, quick question for you. My mom's I130 was approved and sent to NVC. I've paid the AOS Fee and it shows paid online. Is my next step to pay the IV fee when it becomes available? or Do I mail in my AOS packet and then the IV fee will become available to pay then submit an IV packet?  im a bit confused at this step. Hoping one of you guys who have recently been through this can help. Thanks!

Update for My Mom's petition filed in December 2016.

My mom's interview was supposedly for Nov 20, 2017 but during the medical, they asked her to do the sputum test.

So this delayed our timeline for 2 months. Her medical exam was cleared on Jan 8, 2018.

We scheduled her interview for Jan 25. Thankfully, she passed!!!

She said there was not a lot asked. Just who are you gonna live with in the US? Does your daughter have children? Then they asked for her passport.

We scheduled her to come to the US, Feb 21. So she is finally here yesterday!!!

Hang in there guys. The journey will soon be over!

Congratulations @jennnnnnnnnna

I have a question if someone can help.  Our son has applied for me and my husband. It's ir5 petition.  Do we pay 2 seperate aos fees as they are 2 seperate petitions for each one of us? Kindly if anyone has been through this plz let us know.  As I read somewhere you have to pay just one aos fees.

Thanks so much

Yes I think you pay one AOS fee and separate IV fees.  The principal applicant AOS fee would cover the other.  Call NVC and they should be able to let you know for sure.
