Hi! I just chose my Mom's agent(me)/ completed DS- 261 last 2 days. It says on my confirmation that I have to wait for them to send me an invoice asking for an immigrant visa processing fee. It says allow two weeks before I can do anything... did you have to do this too? It seemed like it only took you 2 days after filing ds 261, and you already paid the fees...

I'm still waiting for them to email or contact me so I can move forward into paying the fees...

Hi!! Yes it took only 2 days after completing DS- 261 to get AoS fee invoiced to me. So the AoS invoice comes with NVC welcome letter. You may want to call NVC for inquiry or keep checking CEAC website and see if the "PAY" button for AoS fees becomes clickable. If it does then go ahead to make payment, you don't have to wait for the welcome letter to make this payment. Good luck!!

Thank you! I think they changed things. I haven't gotten my invoice yet. I think it would take them two weeks to do that, like it says on my confirmation. Until then, I will just have to be patient and wait for them to send me the invoice number..

Hi guys, any advice will be appreciated. It's been 5 months and 14 days since i130 was received by uscis for both parents and no news yet. Can someone say something? I'm a bit worried and anxious, is that the usual length of wait? Did anyone get approval before 5 months?

Secondly, my mother intends adopting an orphan. How can the orphan get a green card too with my mother when i130 gets approved? The little girl is about 6 and living with her in Africa presently. Thanks a lot.

Hello everyone,

Question...when i filled out the docs for bringing my mom here, i did not have a job (so i needed my husband to be my co sponsor), but now, i found a job. My question is do i need to update anything since my mom's interview is already scheduled for Nov 20 in Manila?

Any advise is appreciated! Thanks so much!

If your mom's interview is already scheduled, I don't think you have to worry about it.

Hi sis @Stephanie Frost just got an email from NVC. Welcome letters and invoice letters. The website won’t let me pay though it’s always connection lost but I’ll try tomorrow. Hopefully you got an email too. 😊🙏
