Hi my petition was just send to Nvc , what should I do next please? Do the petitioner get the invoice # or my husband that i petition for . Thank you

Hi @Koha! NVC will reach out to you once they have received your mom's documents from USCIS. It might take about 6-8 weeks. You can call them on the 6th week to check if they have received it. Once they do, they'll give you your case number and invoice id so you can start with the process. You will also get an email with all these information.

NVC got my mom's papers on August 8th. I received an email from them last week, so about 7 weeks....

just a little update on my mom case. She is finally cleared on her medical after 2 months delay because she needed to do the sputum culture. Now her interview will be on oct 16. I'm nervous and so she is . Praying that she will pass. :)

Yayyyy! My mom got done with her medical the other day as well. Now, just waiting for the interview on Nov 16. Good luck to your mom @soinlove20! We're almost there! :)

Hi! I just chose my Mom's agent(me)/ completed DS- 261 last 2 days. It says on my confirmation that I have to wait for them to send me an invoice asking for an immigrant visa processing fee. It says allow two weeks before I can do anything... did you have to do this too? It seemed like it only took you 2 days after filing ds 261, and you already paid the fees...

 

I'm still waiting for them to email or contact me so I can move forward into paying the fees...
