I've been checking for a few days now, and I don't think there's a forum for January 2017 filers yet, so I'm going to start one. I just sent my mom's petition today via Fedex and it should be received

To those who are curious what the next steps are after the USCIS approval, here's my NVC timeline (so far):   06/13/17 - I-130 approved 07/20/17 - got my NVC case ID and invoice # over

It says here on visa journey that in the Philippines, they allow it. That's why I got confused. But maybe it's better to call and ask them. Thank you so much! :)

Question to those who has already submitted documents to NVC... When you check the status on their website, does it say they have received the documents? Mine's stuck at Submit Documents to NVC and I have confirmed to them if they have received it, and they said they did. It's just weird how it's not updating on their system if they really have the documents on hand already.

Same here! They said they already received it but here's my status :'(

Yes, it will say that until they have reviewed your docs and ready to set appointment for interview.  Once you called and they have confirmed receipt of your docs, you are good to go.

06/14/13 - Status update - EAD/AP card mailed out (Tracker: USPS estimated delivery date 6/17/13)

06/17/13 - EAD/AP Combo Card arrival!!!!!! (I am cute looking in my picluv.gif)06/20/13 - I-485 Interviewgoofy.gif

06/20/13 - Pronto Approval!!!! "As of today you are a Legal Permanent Resident of the USA"

06/20/13 - Status updated 3 times (1-485 card approval/production, 1-130 approval NOA mailed out & 1-NOA of LPR registration status)

06/25/13 - GC in card production

06/26/13 - Status update - GC mailed out (Tracker: USPS estimated delivery date 6/29/13 )

You will get a checklist from NVC also you can go to https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Step_4_Collect_Financial_Documents.html and review.  Keep in mind also it varies by countries, additional documents are required so it's advisable to check on your country's embassy site.

If you are the agent, NVC will request your email address (Choosing An Agent) so that all communication comes through you.
