To those who are curious what the next steps are after the USCIS approval, here's my NVC timeline (so far):

06/13/17 - I-130 approved

07/20/17 - got my NVC case ID and invoice # over the phone.

07/21/17 - received email from NVC with case ID and invoice # along with steps and document checklist

07/21/17 - chose agent (me) / got email confirmation right away

07/22/17 - paid $120 AOS fee (this one's tricky, because when I went to check my status on NVC's website, it says there I need to call NVC to confirm the information regarding the agent chosen was correct but on the receipt of that I received after choosing the agent, it says I will receive an email with my case id and invoice id... in my case, I just paid the fee right away since it's a Saturday and I won't be able to call NVC anyway.)

07/26/17 - AOS fee status changed from IN PROCESS to PAID

07/29/17 -  called NVC because it has been a few days and the IV fee is still grayed out. I was able to confirm that I'm on the right track and that it normally takes a whole week for them to process the payment.

07/30/17 - received IV invoice for $325, paid right away (the Beneficiary ID is on this invoice. I have been wondering where I could find it since it is needed when filling out DS260

I guess I'll try to be patient and wait for 1 whole week for them to process my IV fee... I have already filled out my AOS form and just compiling all other requirements. I'll let you guys know what happens next. :)

She said that they saw a tiny blurred on her xray . Her interview scheduled on july 19 but we need to cancel it and school is starting next month so i guess i won't be flying back home to accompany her.

Good luck to you as well :)

Hope everything is going well with your moms case.good luck

hello! I applied for my mom's petition last feb 7 (NOA1 PD), and i finally received the NOA2 last friday (07/28). While waiting for the Case # and invoice #, i thought about gathering the possible requirements for the package. So currently, My mom is living in Dubai, UAE. During I passed her application, i chose the UAE US consulate so she don't need to go back to the Philippines for interview, She's been there for almost 2 years now. I wonder what requirements do she needs to gather while she's staying there. I have some on my list like her MC(since shes married) Her BC, NBI (phil. PC), UAE PC, my BC (proof im her daughter), my MC, photocopy of me and my husband's Passport (since my husband will be part of the AOS, copy of our taxes and w2s, and pay stubs. That's all I can think of. Would really appreciate for more infos from you guys. Thank you!

Package meaning I am her agent so all the paperwork came to me plus her NVC application, my original birth certificate etc.  She really has nothing except for her BC and police record.  What I'm doing is preparing her package to take to the interview, plus a package for her medical, so she doesn't have to go through the hassle of trying to figure out immigration tediousness lol....

Hi @Dassie! The documents I sent were just received last Monday and the wait time for NVC is currently at 11 weeks, so I don't think I'll hear from them until maybe October. I've read other's timeline and I think once they schedule the interview, they give at least a month's notice for your parents to get their medical exams taken care of too. Hope this helps!

Hey all, NVC status now says:

U.S. Department of State
IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
In Transit

Expecting the documents to get to the embassy in the next day or two.  You were able to track NVC documents to embassies through DHL in the past but I don't think that works any more.

good luck to us all!!!
