Just got off the phone with NVC and finally got my case number and invoice id after 5 weeks of waiting! To those who has gone through the first few steps with NVC, after choosing the agent, can you immediately pay the fee or do you have to wait for couple more weeks?

Hi @Camietots!

Here's a link where you can find the processing times:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

Just scroll down to the bottom and choose which service center you're petition is being worked at. Once you're in there, find I-130 US Citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21. Hope this helps!

Aww. My husband and i had PD 02/21/17. i guess i mistook the dates you posted earlier as dates they are currently processing i-130. Says here f2a are still on 08/23/16. my bad. Got hopeful though. I havent seen my husband for like 5 mos. And we wont see each other till christmas. All this waiting, its making me anxious. I guess its making all of us here anxious.

Btw i know this is a january thread. I was just here looking for signs that its moving. :)

Any help please fir  my case !!!

My older sister was born in America and her nationality, but the length of her life in Egypt is just a renewal of the passport, but from the embassy. She is currently well-established and stable in Egypt. I am going to get the green card through it. I have the required paper (I-130 & passport photo & birth certificates). & Charges) .. Did you send them to the Chicago Lockbox office and did they need another paper!
What is the average time to respond or approve?

Submission date was 1/17/2017. i didn't get letter yet but i submitted an online request last week when the texas center was showing processing May 2017 applications. They sent me an email saying it was approved july 21 but give 30 days for mail delivery.
