I've been checking for a few days now, and I don't think there's a forum for January 2017 filers yet, so I'm going to start one. I just sent my mom's petition today via Fedex and it should be received

To those who are curious what the next steps are after the USCIS approval, here's my NVC timeline (so far):   06/13/17 - I-130 approved 07/20/17 - got my NVC case ID and invoice # over

IR-5 Timeline (Petitioning my mother from the Philippines)

 

01/06/2017 - Mailed Petition to Arizona Lockbox via USPS certified mail - Paid: $4 and change

01/09//2017 - Petition was received (Priority Date)

01/16/2017 - Received  text and email notification that case was accepted and routed to Texas Service Center

01/20//2017 - Received NOA1 in the mail (Form I-179c)

I haven't received the mail yet, but they said they already sent it. I bet you will hear from them soon, too! Good luck to all of us. :)

Yaaaaaayyyyyy!!!!! Awesome Jennnnnnnnnna!! Congrats and good luck with the new steps! USCIS website finally updated my case status to 'My case was sent to Department of State'.. and I did call NVC yesterday and the customer service lady told me they still haven't got my approved petitions and advised me to wait for another 2 weeks for them to put everything on their system.. Another waiting game I guess lol..

Exactly 2 weeks. Based on approval notice date 06/02 to today 06/16. They said I can call again in a few days to get case numbers for my parents.

Awesome! Hopefully it doesn't take too long for them to process. Read somewhere on average, it takes about 11 weeks for them to process at NVC.

This waiting game is killing me. Wife filed a I-130 for her mother and yet to received a response other than a receipt number which is 

checked daily for any updates. (FILED DECEMBER 2016)

 

12/02/16- I-130, Petition for Alien Relative sent.

12/13/16- I-130 Received.

06/19/17-PENDING NOTIFICATION-APPROVAL

After 9 weeks of submitting all the documents to the nvc i finally got an email today that they will soon be scheduling my mom for an interview. And also they said that i need to send an additional document which i am 100% sure that i already included in the packet that i sent to them. <_< oh well !! LOL i'm nervous and excited for my mom !! Now my question is, can i go with her on the interview?

We have the same POD and Service center. Hopefully, to hear from them the soonest.
