Good luck to you! I am still in the waiting process.... Now on my 4th month, soon to be 5... Desperately hoping to hear from USCIS soon...

I've been checking for a few days now, and I don't think there's a forum for January 2017 filers yet, so I'm going to start one. I just sent my mom's petition today via Fedex and it should be received

To those who are curious what the next steps are after the USCIS approval, here's my NVC timeline (so far):   06/13/17 - I-130 approved 07/20/17 - got my NVC case ID and invoice # over

I'm not really sure how they assign the service centers... I just hope and pray I get the approval soon. ;p

i was checking almost everyday but i gave up. I remember i asked one of the attorneys last year, and he told me asian countries take longer, like 8 months to get it approved.

so i wont keep my hopes high that i will get it in 3-4 months!!

ugh! that's a long time... i guess we don't have a choice but to just sit and wait

there's another forum for November 2016 applicants.. I think there's some that has already been approved.

Same here. Will be 5 next month.

 

Now, Pres. Duterte declared Martial Law in Mindanao and my mother is still there.. :)

IR-5 Timeline (Petitioning my mother from the Philippines)

 

01/06/2017 - Mailed Petition to Arizona Lockbox via USPS certified mail - Paid: $4 and change

01/09//2017 - Petition was received (Priority Date)

01/16/2017 - Received  text and email notification that case was accepted and routed to Texas Service Center

01/20//2017 - Received NOA1 in the mail (Form I-179c)

Thanks. Hopefully, being from Mindanao will not affect my Petition.

05/14/13 - I-485 Case Status updated to Testing & Interview

05/20/13 - Text message (as of 5/19/13 I-485 interview date set for 6/20/13)06/10/13 - Status update - AP approved EAD in card production

06/14/13 - Status update - EAD/AP card mailed out (Tracker: USPS estimated delivery date 6/17/13)

You're almost there! :) Mine is still with USCIS and it will be 5 months on June 9. I keep on saying not to check the status online, but I guess it has already become a habit lol I'm still hanging in there!

Same here waiting for an interview. It's been 5 weeks now since i pass all the required documents.  Hoping we all hear something soon!! Good luck! :)
