We were just approved...finally!  Our petition was received on January 4 (with NOA1 of January 12), so it has been 110 calendar days since they received it.  As far as I could tell as of last Thursday, 70% of petitions received on January 4 had either received approval or RFEs.  So, as a point of reference to others still waiting, you should prepare mentally to wait ~110 days, and just hope that it comes sooner.  Lastly, I need to make a suggestion--on behalf of myself and other patient readers that are careful to only post information that may be useful to others on the blog--to the small number of posters that submit innumerable messages full of nonconstructive rants or PMs to others that are of no use of the greater group:  Stop it...ask yourself before you post anything, if it has any value to others.  On the flip side, thank you to Geowrian and AkesAngel and all of the other good people on this site that post well-reasoned and helpful messages.  Best wishes to all...even the prolific, unhelpful posters. ;-)

Apparently, you clearly didn't get what a forum is supposed to be.

If we can help each other in any way, most of us are happy to do it. And yes, sometimes it goes by reassuring people and trying to make them feel a little better about how long the process is.

If you don't like it, then don't come on this forum. As another user said, if you're only looking for practical stuff, go to a lawyer or the uscis website !

If you have people to talk to about it, good for you, but if some of us wanna take the advantage of talking to people going through the same thing, you have absolutely no say in that !

To conclude ... Judging by the likes, it definitely doesn't look like you're having "major support" :) oh well, at least you tried ! Next time maybe try to be a little less judgmental and mean.

First off I would like to congratulate all people who received approvals, you earned it with your dedication and patience!😁

Unfortunately, it looks like a lot of us Jan 10 filers are still untouched according to the raw data.. hopefully we see some movement..hitting 105 days since received date, 102 since NOA 1.. 😭

The good news is we still have 4 days left to see some type of movement.

Happy for them, but hard not to get discouraged and lose hope.

Judging by the Raw Data, my receive date only has 6 untouched cases and go figure mine is one of them....

That fact is extremely unnerving, as now I'm sitting here thinking why?  What could be holding it up?  I'm confident they looked at it, started processing it, but something happened during the processing that is holding it up.  Ahhh, how frustrating :(

You have to understand that what you find helpful, constructive, and informative is highly subjective! You seem to look for easily digestible facts and regulations, but other members of this forum find emotional support more helpful. Both approaches are fine and have equal right to exist here. You are not a moderator so please don't try to enforce your own preference as a rule here.

Thank you Miina for the thoughtful reply (unlike several others).  You make excellent points and I understand your perspective and the others voiced here.  My point is that the stated purpose of this specific forum is as follows: "Discussion on the US immigration procedure to obtain a K1 Fiance(e) Visa for a non US Citizen (living overseas) engaged to a US Citizen. K2 Visas for children of the foreign fiance(e) (if applicable) are also discussed."  So, for all of those posts that do not discuss US immigration procedure, and they are the majority of the posts, it is not really the purpose of the forum.  I realize that our society caters to those that honk their horns the loudest and it is increasingly so; but, on behalf of those of us that are more considerate of others people's time, I do think a bit more discretion in what is posted is overdue.  I will not post on this topic again because it would defeat the purpose.  I only hope that prolific, unhelpful posters will stop and think once in a while.
