Oh. Have you gotten packet 3 yet? Packet 3 includes the forms you need to fill out as well as the pre-interview instructions.

Here are links that should help you with your next steps (see More Actions):

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/jp/jp-niv-appointmentschedule.asp

This should help as well:

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Japan&cty=Tokyo

This PDF has a pre-interview checklist as well as the instructions so you can start preparing:

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/TKY - Tokyo.pdf

I'm not 100% sure this has everything that's on the packet 3 though, so I'd wait for packet 3 and see if there's anything missing. But you can refer to this pdf while waiting, so you can start gathering the stuff that you will need to submit. :)

I am still waiting for packet 3 and I just told my fiance that try to bring NOA2 to police station to get police record and ask can she schedule for medical exam with NOA2 as well ?

I am worry if I schedule for interview next month (if available) do I have enough time to gathering everything because as far as I know that she might get packet 4 as well (she is not Japanese citizen), and how she can fill out form DS-160 for herself and her son ( < 3 year old ), is it fill seperately ?

Thanks for your time

Are you planning to get her and her son over there at the same time?

She can schedule the interview to 1 month from now, but make sure that her medical is scheduled at least 2 weeks before her interview because it takes around 1 week to get the medical results. She is required to have the medical results on her interview date.

Did you include your fiance's child on the I-129F? If you did, then your fiance will get an extra set of forms for her child. You will be applying for a K1 visa (for your fiance) and a K2 visa (for her child).

To understand your situation further, would you like to send me a private message? Or maybe she and I can talk so I can help her throughout the process. Let me know. :)

leter f intent does no need to be origibal, it may be photocopy.
Before 2013 it dit need to be orinial but after that they went to a more digital system and are now allowing photocopys of alwaost everything as long as ou can bring the original to the interview.

Here is a link for USCIS website with a list of documents that need to be orinial
https://www.uscis.gov/forms/file-my-application-online-e-filing/how-do-i-know-if-i-need-original-documents

ANd it clearly says that all other documents may be photo copies.

My girl is also very patient and she reinforces this with prayers each night that we will be blessed in due time. We noticed after reviewing Thursday's stats that the case above and below our WAC# was approved. The case below us was approved on the 20th and there are only 36 cases left to be touched for Jan 11 filers so I feel the both of us should get our approval next week.

That would be so cool if that happend and we both traveled together to the Philippines to pick up our fiance. When I visited my girl last month we made an appointment at the CFO in Cebu. We we're 2 hours late for our appointment because of the traffic in Cebu, it took us 2 hours to drive like 20 miles. It was a nightmare. Have your girl do her CFO in Manila, even though there is a lot of traffic there it's closer to the airport. We were able to spend time with her brother who met us at the airport and we spent the night with them at their home in Cebu.

Yes life is too short to worry about things that are out of our control, I'm also dealing with finding a new job since moving to Florida back in Oct since the company I was working for was sold and my position was eliminated. I have interviews scheduled for next week at a conference in Orlando so maybe I will be blessed with finding a new job and receiving our NOA2.

I'll keep the both of you in my prayers that we receive our NOA2 next week.

Thanks my friend

OMG traffic in the philippines cannot even be explained LOL. my love is living in Taguig and when I visit I stay in Makati, well until we take our in country trips. She will do her CFO in Manila but still about 2 hours to get there for her because of traffic. Hoping we both get approvals next week so we can move on to the next steps in our life. Hang in there my friend and I will be saying some prayers for you as well...have a great weekend. Be pretty cool to travel with a fellow VJ member to meet the love of our lifes
