You are very right that the cases are chosen seemingly at random. I am very grateful for the daily scans, but at the same time they kind of add to the stress level when you compare your cases to those around yours. I've tried to stop looking at the detailed scan file to compare my case to others and instead I'm just checking on how many cases were touched for my received date. I was going a bit crazy overanalyzing all of the cases and looking only at the overall numbers touched per day has kind of helped me to stay a bit more sane!

Wishing the best for all of you January filers still waiting. You will get there soon. :)

Totally! It sucks when you see others get approved before you. Just makes you paranoid, wondering what you might have done wrong. I wish I didn't have a clue how to analyze Excel spreadsheets. This is just making me bite all my fingernails off! Haha!

But yeah, we will all get our approval at some point. Just really hope USCIS people will speed things up a bit. We all just want to be with our loves! :(

Me too. I checked the spreadsheet though and noticed that those further in line for a certain date usually get approved before those in front of the line. For example, we are 13th in line for Jan 19 (our receipt number ends in 0013), but none of the early cases have been touched. I did, however, see that the cases who are 160+ in line were already worked on. Just proves that they don't work on the cases in order at all. It's all luck at this point. Just hope that someone fast grabs your packet.

Well, if you think about it... say you get a big stack of petitions on your desk.  Your job is to assign them a WAC number.  You take the top one off the pile and assign a number and put it to the side.  By the time you get through all the petitions, the very first one you assigned a WAC number to is now on the bottom of the big pile.

Thanks that make you go Hmmm...?

"Order" is a loosely defined word.  In what order?  We don't know.

The letter must be wet signed by her.

Yes, the beneficiary needs to sign a letter of intent to marry.  The way I did it was during one of my trips to see my Fiance I brought 5 copies of the letter and we both signed it together.  It must be original, wet, signatures when submitted to USCIS.

We're right there with you, 100 days tomorrow.

And the real killer for us today was seeing that applicants just above and below our case # were approved, one just yesterday.

This is the toughest thing I think I have ever done in my life, and waiting to be with the person I love so much is really very hard.

Well we're all in this together the end of the night isn't here yet, I think USCIS continues to send updates out until midnight EST?

The original intent to marry from petitioner is the one needed on interview. In 129f should be from both side
