We got the RFE on the 17 th mailed to me here in USA Fishers , Indiana.  

Received today the 21st.   

 

Wanted two things 

1). The passport photo with the specific requirements.   Easy to do/get too! 

And

2) the beneficiary letter of inten to marry with what's needed in it.   Grace already on top of this done!  

 

Thank God, I am feeling blessed, she is sending me her stuff by FedEx Monday!   As soon as I get it, I will mail it from here and Boom Bada Boom we should get approved and on our way!! 

 

Bouncing off off the walls excited, we got this!!

Did you originally sent passport photos but not to specs?

Did you originally not include her letter of intent to marry or was it written incorrectly?

We got our RFE last week April 14 and we still haven't gotten the mail yet

Oh. Have you gotten packet 3 yet? Packet 3 includes the forms you need to fill out as well as the pre-interview instructions.

I'm not 100% sure this has everything that's on the packet 3 though, so I'd wait for packet 3 and see if there's anything missing. But you can refer to this pdf while waiting, so you can start gathering the stuff that you will need to submit.

Looks like we aren't getting our NOA2 today. Oh well, it's nice to see that Jan. 19 cases are being touched now. We are 13th in line on that date but it seems that the latter Jan. 19 cases are being worked on, though. :/ Hopefully, next week is our week.

I read that they stop at around 11:30 pm EST, but based on reports from most people here who got their approval, they got the notification around 9:45-ish. So right now, I've sorta lost hope that we'll get anything today.

I'm looking forward to the scans and touched cases table tomorrow to see what kind of progress is being made around me.

Me too. I checked the spreadsheet though and noticed that those further in line for a certain date usually get approved before those in front of the line. For example, we are 13th in line for Jan 19 (our receipt number ends in 0013), but none of the early cases have been touched. I did, however, see that the cases who are 160+ in line were already worked on. Just proves that they don't work on the cases in order at all. It's all luck at this point. Just hope that someone fast grabs your packet.

You are very right that the cases are chosen seemingly at random. I am very grateful for the daily scans, but at the same time they kind of add to the stress level when you compare your cases to those around yours. I've tried to stop looking at the detailed scan file to compare my case to others and instead I'm just checking on how many cases were touched for my received date. I was going a bit crazy overanalyzing all of the cases and looking only at the overall numbers touched per day has kind of helped me to stay a bit more sane!
