That notification almost killed me a couple of times thinking my case was updated but it was just someone else.  So I turned off "Notifications for Similar Cases".  After 3-4 false excitements that turned out to be others, I couldn't take it anymore. Turn that off :P

Yeah I glad we didn't start that. Lol. Our insanity at their non-order would have  just sent  us to a psychiatrist. I was at least warned about that it is not first come first served a long time ago. Good luck everyone. Don't forget, it was not that long ago and we were just getting 20 or 30 touches every two days, now it's 100s a day.

Thanks to all those that post such useful statistics, moral support, and things for all of us waiting!

One question.. do you send your fiance (beneficiaries) the stack of photocopies of the K-1 packet? I know that as a beneficiary I will have to bring that packet to the US embassy for the interview. Since the original signed copies were sent off to the USCIS, can my fiance (petitioner) just send me the scanned copies and I'll print out the packet from my end? I keep telling him (petitioner) to FedEx me the papers but he was confused because he said I have everything and can just print them out. That got me confused as from reading the forums I was under the impression he'd have to FedEx me stuff - but obviously there is no point wasting postage money if there is no need for it? I just want things to be ready to go for when I receive the NOA2.

According to my friend 129f is only for your reference embassy or consulate has a copy already.you dont need to bring it on your interview. Some question may come from that form so everybody is advised to read(review?) it.

They haven't started touching any January 24 cases yet.  Some Jan 23 have been approved.  So maybe next week hopefully for me.  I hate all this waiting! -_-

My received date is January 10th!!! Haha it's actually comical at this point that they haven't touched any! Bizzare, but comical!

If I didn't laugh I would cry!

It is ridiculous how January 10th barely gets touched,  i definitely know how the December filers feel. :(

There are less than half way through Jan cases and April is almost over.  So looks like it might be well into May or June before all Jan cases are done.

Starting to do double digits with our date, and a member with the same date saying they got approved yesterday--it's definitely starting to get exciting for us.  Understand that there's still pretty many not touched from before our date, but I'm hoping we receive some good news tonight or next week.  It would certainly be a nice start to our upcoming week together.:)

I'm literally right there with you with that thought!

Sucks!

They are very slow.

What steps have you done? What was the last thing you did? Have you received the letter and forms from NVC? Have you filled them out and sent them back along with other required documents?

It's hard to tell what you should do next without knowing which part of the visa application process you're on.

Actually I was on my vacation for 3 weeks and came back on 18 April. I called NVC and got case number with being told that my package already send out to US Embassy in Tokyo. Next 24 hour, I check my visa case status and it already say Ready, that all.
