Day 104 since received.... knowing it can be any day now for the past week has been very tough and mentally straining.  It's almost like I'm being teased by the USCIS.  But I'm staying strong, but my fiance though is really taking this hard.  Especially since she currently is not working and now her father lost his job this past Tuesday.  We are in desperate need of some good news to lift everyone's spirits :(

As we approach the last 2 days of the week, I wish everyone good luck.  Hopefully there is a nice week end push in touched cases for January filers and we can all rejoice together.

I definitely know how you feel mentally straining, i really hope things will get better, i wouldn't wish this waiting on anyone. I have a feeling that we all will hear from them soon.

Definitely!

i wish I wouldn't have found out how this whole receipt number system works. I'm getting obsessed! The number just before me got approved yesterday and I'm finding myself calculating how many January cases would have to be touched per day if we all  juanuary filers were to be updated this month. It's depressing!

I feel similar, I have the number directly in front of me and a case two numbers after me approved. No clue how they pick and choose, but its coming soon so that is how we stay positive. Just remember, time flies and as grueling and long as this may seem its something we all will talk about years from now with our husband/wives as a distant memory that felt ages ago!

That's true. If we and our partners can make it through this hard time , we can make it through almost anything I think. At the same time it feels like such a waste of time tho. I hope next week brings good news for as many of us as possible!

Stay positive people...I am sure the full scans from others will confirm the numbers later, but it looks like they touched around 100 January cases yesterday, with an 80% approval rate. Make the most of your days, go for a walk, start putting together plans for when you move, anything to fill the time and take your mind off the wait! :pop:

Yes I agree. Today's another day just had one of those day's yesterday when I needed to vet out some of my frustration.

I also made the mistake of looking at cases from last year when USCIS was processing NOA2's in 30 days or less and Visas's were getting approved in about 60 days.

Just doesn't seem fair, but as someone once told me since when is life "fair".

The good thing here we are all feeling the same things; being away from our loved ones while waiting for the next step in this process and can lean on one another when we're having a miserable day.

Thanks for your support and hopefully all of us will receive our NOA2 shortly.

its so quiet right now because everybody (including me) keeps checking the USCIS website for any case status changes.

Yup, pretty sure that's the main reason haha 😂

I think we're all stressed out at the moment ... I was visiting my fiancé for the past few weeks, we were hoping we'd receive or NOA2 while I was here but I'm leaving tomorrow and no sign of an approval :(

I do and it already say Ready...how can I submit the pre- interview and schedule medical ?

Thanks

What steps have you done? What was the last thing you did? Have you received the letter and forms from NVC? Have you filled them out and sent them back along with other required documents?

It's hard to tell what you should do next without knowing which part of the visa application process you're on.

I am actually the beneficiary :) He actually did come to France for 2 weeks and then I surprised him by going back with him for a few weeks in America. It was so so nice... But now we're gonna be back with the awful feeling of not knowing when we'll see each other again :(
