Guilty! It's on the upper right hand corner of the i129-f form. It says right there Expires 06/30/2016 and we missed it!! I'm super pissed at myself but oh well..

I'm very curious about this.  Is this what your RFE was about?  Wrong form?

The expiration on the top right corner doesn't mean much.  What matters is the "Edition Date" in the bottom left corner.

Which edition did you submit?

Because this is what is says on the USCIS website about edition upgrades:

I'm really curious what edition date you had so I can check mine.

Update to Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e)

New edition dated 12/23/16. Starting 02/21/17, USCIS will only accept the 12/23/16 edition. Until then, you can use previous editions. However, all filings postmarked 12/23/16 or later must include the new fees or we will reject them. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions.

To me, if you filed before 2/21/17, previous editions are accepted.

Wow, this is very confusing. @_@ The form we filled out is dated 06/30/2016 as well, but I guess this is correct since we filed in January..? Still... very confusing.

Do you already have your case number? Once you have your case number then you're ready to submit the pre-interview requirements, schedule your medical appointment and then your interview.

Okay so now its Wednesday, day 97 and still no NOA2, and now to find out they are approving Feb filers ahead of us?
What kind of logic is that and still there are Nov and Dec filers not approved yet.

It just seem like every day that goes by is less bearable. I am the beneficiary, and being away from what I consider my home is becoming so painful. We are all trying to stay optimistic, but geez why are they touching so little case in January, seriously.

Hey thanks for your encouragement. I just had one of those days and when I read the post that USCIS is now starting to process cases in Feb that just sent me over the edge. I know I need to be patient and to support my partner. We were on the phone together this morning when I posted my comments.

It's just so ridiculous how the USCIS operates and processes our cases. There are cases that are just before and after us that have been approved. Just makes no sense why our case hasn't been approved.

Well maybe tomorrow will bring good news. It's too late tonight I think to receive and approval.

Fingers crossed our prayers will be answered soon.

Stay positive people...I am sure the full scans from others will confirm the numbers later, but it looks like they touched around 100 January cases yesterday, with an 80% approval rate. Make the most of your days, go for a walk, start putting together plans for when you move, anything to fill the time and take your mind off the wait! :pop:

You should go to the embassy website and follow the instructions provided.

Ukrainian consulate has the steps listed. Just follow the same steps:

https://ua.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/how-to-apply/

All of the forms that will be included in the package that your fiancé gets from the embassy can be found here:

https://ua.usembassy.gov/visas/visa-forms/

Good luck!

Definitely!

i wish I wouldn't have found out how this whole receipt number system works. I'm getting obsessed! The number just before me got approved yesterday and I'm finding myself calculating how many January cases would have to be touched per day if we all  juanuary filers were to be updated this month. It's depressing!

Day 104 since received.... knowing it can be any day now for the past week has been very tough and mentally straining.  It's almost like I'm being teased by the USCIS.  But I'm staying strong, but my fiance though is really taking this hard.  Especially since she currently is not working and now her father lost his job this past Tuesday.  We are in desperate need of some good news to lift everyone's spirits :(

As we approach the last 2 days of the week, I wish everyone good luck.  Hopefully there is a nice week end push in touched cases for January filers and we can all rejoice together.
