As a January 10 filer, they seem to only check it twice a week so far :(

At this rate it could be weeks! At least December filers are getting responded more rapidly now at least.

Guilty! It's on the upper right hand corner of the i129-f form. It says right there Expires 06/30/2016 and we missed it!! I'm super pissed at myself but oh well..

I just checked the February filers thread and apparently they've started approving some Feb cases.  The person running the scans say they were not expedited.  Now I know how the December filers feel that are still waiting.

So far there have been a few Feb Filers received NOA2.  All of the non-expedited cases have been from Feb 6.

Okay so now its Wednesday, day 97 and still no NOA2, and now to find out they are approving Feb filers ahead of us?
What kind of logic is that and still there are Nov and Dec filers not approved yet.

I feel like I'm on the edge of a cliff ready to jump.

I don't know how much more I can take of this USCIS waiting????

Same for me ... 97 days since Received date. This is taking for ever! I made the mistake of looking at last year's timelines and they used to get an answer around 40 days !!! This is so unfair :( I know there's still a bunch of people from November and December but I don't understand how they could get so far behind ! And their system doesn't make any sense... they should process them as they come ! I don't understand how they can just pick out any box 😂

Anyways... I'm feeling very sad and frustrated rn... hopefully we all hear something soon.. but I'm starting to loose hope now :(

I WISH I CAN STOP REFRESHING EVERY APP I HAVE. IT JUST KEEPS TELLING ME THE SAME EXACT THING. I AM ALSO LOSING HOPE. MY FRIEND FILED IN AUGUST OF 2016 AND HER HUSBAND CAME TO THE STATES IN MID NOVEMBER. I HAVE A FEELING WE ARE GOING TO WAIT UNTIL JUNE. :(

I'm very curious about this.  Is this what your RFE was about?  Wrong form?

The expiration on the top right corner doesn't mean much.  What matters is the "Edition Date" in the bottom left corner.

Which edition did you submit?

Because this is what is says on the USCIS website about edition upgrades:

Quote

Update to Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e)

New edition dated 12/23/16. Starting 02/21/17, USCIS will only accept the 12/23/16 edition. Until then, you can use previous editions. However, all filings postmarked 12/23/16 or later must include the new fees or we will reject them. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions.

To me, if you filed before 2/21/17, previous editions are accepted.

I'm really curious what edition date you had so I can check mine.

Actually I just assumed it's because we used the old form. But we haven't actually gotten the mail yet. Now I'm kinda scared about our RFE

I'm pretty sure your child would be a US citizen automatically since you already are.
