Thank you for sharing the screen shots for the USCIS case status app.
For Apple users under the Notification Settings we only have the category "visa bulletin". I don't have the option to make it check 2/4 times a day :(
Any Apple users seeing anything different?

Nope, same here .. 😑

If you get an RFE, do you need to send a hard copy of your evidences? Or is a scan enough at this stage?

I can't post anything to the United States :(. I posted a gift to my fiancé for valentines day, it still hasn't been received:(!

I had to send it to my uncle in another country, then he sent it to America. I believe it's lost now. I don't want my relationship-proof being lost in the mail.

I just checked the February filers thread and apparently they've started approving some Feb cases.  The person running the scans say they were not expedited.  Now I know how the December filers feel that are still waiting.

RE: App behavior

So an FYI... It is my experience with the two iOS apps, USCISApp and Case Tracker, are site scrapers and check at regular intervals through out the day to see if there are any changes to your status.  I did notice that USCISApp does seem to lag behind Case Tracker by about 30-50 minutes. There are no setting that control that and I am thinking it may check once an hour or so. I verified that when they posted the latest Visa Bulletins, which when posted on the USCIS website appeared on my apps fairly rapidly.

I will of course know 100% if the apps work when I get my NOA2. 98 days and counting. We are both sitting on pins and needles right now because according to VJ Timeline our app should be reviewed this week (although we noticed that our review date just got moved by a day... ugh).

EDIT: Let me correct myself. After reading some forums, it seems that there is an option to fax your RFE response. People say that USCIS prefers lengthy responses (those with many pages, I assume) to be sent via mail, though. Hopefully someone who got an RFE can help us out.

But for now, here's an article that talks about how to handle an RFE.

I don't think mailing documents will be a problem, though. Maybe your gift got stuck in customs or something? Have you tracked it or tried to check with the seller or courier? How did you send your forms to your fiance and how long did it take for him to receive it? Mine only took 2-3 business days, I think. If you think you might get an RFE, maybe you can do some research on the best couriers while waiting for an update on your case.

Unfortunately, yes. They will provide you with an address to which you should send your "evidence", and if I'm not mistaken, there's a deadline as well. Here's an article that talks about how to handle an RFE.

Hopefully, you don't get one, though, but if you do, express mail is your best bet. Maybe your gift got stuck in customs or something. I don't think sending documents will be a problem. Thanks Hazeyhaze!

We were together at my country gathering our evidence.

Oh well if I get an RFE, I'm doomed :(!

I won't risk sending them by post. I might give it to a friend in Canada (who has recently came here for a visit.), and ask my fiancé to pick it up at Canada.

Believe me guys, be grateful for what you have. Living in a country banned by America, while your love lives there makes this stress and waiting more tough :(. I'm at day 87, staying strong and not crying but I'm kinda losing hope.

But I still believe everything happens for a reason. Let's stay positive here.

I wish you all quick NOA2's, could you please add me to your prayers too? :)

Thank you.

I just edited my response after going through some forums. It seems that there is an option to fax your RFE response, but I'd still do some research on good couriers in your country just in case. Better to have a plan B, right?

We're all very anxious, but our time waiting is best spent on preparing for what's to come. Gather the documents needed, do some research, and stop by this forum from time to time for updates and some support from fellow anxious fiances. :D

I have the same thing whn i sent gifts it can take months to arive. if you sent ocuments and sent it with a tracker, signed maitl and with the cn23 or cn22 form pastedd ontop. when you go to the postofiice they might tell you, that you dohnt need to put these forms on it for just papers, however when you do put it on it arrives faster because they dont hold it up at costums.
The papers that is sent this way arrived within a week, it might be longer for you becasue you are from iran however.
Also you can just make phoio copys and sent those via email. asl long as you can produce origianls at the interview, that does not seem to be a problem.

I think December filers who are still waiting are being held up for a reason by USCIS and will more than likely be receiving a RFE at this point.  It doesn't make sense they would start approving February filers while December filers are still untouched.  My guess is, they have been touched, but needed further review, and will be getting an RFE. I noticed when filers receive an RFE, it usually is finally given well after the "average" review time.  So it appears it holds everything up.  If you are way past your average review time, you'll probably get an RFE

That is just my observations.
