How were you waiting 75 days? USICS do not open on weekends & don't count Presidents' Day because they were off that day.

i dont know USCIS schedule , when they work or not ,im going by the amount of time since we shipped our packet, according to VJ it should be around beggining of May , hopefully it wont take longer than that. Fingers crossed!

Hi guys! Exciting to see so many Jan filers getting their approvals. We hope to be among those lucky few soon!

Looking forward toward the embassy interview I had a few questions:

1. If my dad is our sponsor and owns his own company how would he get a letter from his employer?

2. Is it necessary to label pictures the same way they were labeled for the petition (date, location, names of people pictured)? I sent a scrapbook to my fiance that he is planning on taking, but I was told that may not fit through the window at the embassy and to send 4x6 photos as well.

3. How many messages should I screenshot and send? (1 per month for two years of communication?) or do I only need to send messages from the time we sent our petition to now?

4. I had been copying and pasting our skype chat log and sent it with our petition, should I send an updated version to the interview? Will they find that believable, the format and amount of chats makes it look impossible for someone to type, but It technically is not a formal chat log from skype just copied and pasted.

5. When should my fiance begin gathering requested documents as some of them cannot be over a month old at the time of the interview? we don't want to wait and have to push back our interview because of the documents, but we also do not want to get them too early and risk them expiring.

Thank you and sorry about the gargantuan post!

Good luck to everyone waiting for that coveted noa2!

Eh dobre mi stava da se vidi o6te edin Bulgarin na tozi site, 6te stiskam palci za vas:D. I'm Bulgarian as well, so is my fiancee, but she has lived in Poland pretty much her entire life, so our process has been fun with traveling back and forth for birth certificates etc..

I'm glad to see another Bulgarian on here too! I've been looking for any info from Bulgarians for the the consulate but nothing sadly :( .There's not many of us, at least from the last year or so. It's always complicated and a lot of stress getting Bulgarian documents :D it seems like they like to take their time. I had my fiancé do everything in advance, he already has all his documents and even translated :D

I didn't want to wait any longer. Did your fiancé get her birth certificate translated and legalized in BG? She will probably need her vaccine record from when she was a baby, those things are so old and hardly understandable :D  I would write in Bulgarian but I don't want our posts to get deleted!

That's right, but what she means is that it's been an x number of days since they sent the packet. If you're using the app to track your case, you'd see the same information as well.

Take mine for example. We sent the packet on January 17, 2017, so the tracker says it's been 91 days since then. You are correct about the schedule, though, but she was just referring to what the app says.

Anyway, the average is 94 days, not 94 working days. Even though it is true, the fact they are not working 2 days a week is kind of already accounted for in the average. The fact they are not working some days does not mean we have not been waiting all that time! We have been waiting and the days and weeks go by even though there are weekends.

so yea I couldn't agree more, it's always a pain dealing with paperwork back home, my fiance didn't have a birth certificate originally, so she had to go back and at least get the duplicate from her town, as well as getting it stamped by city hall to affirm it's authenticity for use. She's applying as a Polish citizen so translations had to be from BG-PL-ENG then legalized and apostilled, as far as vaccinations you are right, that unfortunately is a lost record in our case, so she will just need to get all the necessary vaccines again when she goes to the medical... Where is your local Consulate located? I had many of my questions answered by the one in NYC, as well as the one in Poland in our case. Feel free to PM me if you prefer to talk in Bulgarian, this way as you said the posts won't risk being deleted.

You would think the month that USCIS starts working on the days would move more quickly, but somehow the days just feel slower..

I had a dream that I was just driving my car with my loved one next to me, talking about how hot the day was and we were just about to go for a swim.. even though the dream was very short, waking up after a dream like that makes you really miss the simple things.

Hopefully we all get our approvals soon, having patience is the hardest part of this process.
