 I'm at 86 days since my NOA1 and 92 days since they received it, because I also work for the government I wonder if they will have the day off of Friday like I do... i would be more than happy to work Friday if i know USCIS will work too..

A few pages back it was discussed whether the USCIS is off this Friday or not, and the conclusion seemed to be that No, they are not off and are working Friday.  You can see the conversation if you go a few pages back.  I think we talked about it Monday.

US Goverment workers (I am a local gov employee and follow the same holiday schedule) do not have any holidays again until the end of May. Good news for us all who are waiting patiently. I still think they are still focused on finishing a very large December group of Visas, and I am excited to see they have worked as many January apps. I think that everyone will feel a lot better when they are doing a 100 apps every few days.

Hi, I am an April filer and I browse through the other months threads to see how everyone is progressing along. I checked out the link you posted and it appears the outage will be for maintenance on their website, specifically online tools. I don't believe this outage will have any impact on the processing of any of our case files. Hope this helps to ease any worries you may have with possible delays. Enjoy your evening 😊

So I guess even though the USCIS website is down for maintenance they are still sending out messages tonight advising case updates.

I think you're right about some of the workers that are taking sprint break because the one currently working on 1/10 recieved date seemed last active on April 6th and i don't think has been active since. 

 

 I know that patience is definitely key!

I decided to check right after midnight, and to my amazement we were approved!!! 

 

Strange, as I checked around 7pm pacific and it did not say approved. I am over the moon happy and relieved. Best of luck fellow January filers, hope you all get the approval very soon!

NOA2 approved April 12th, 2017

 

We're over the moon with our approval. 

We thought it'd take longer,  he's coming to visit next week anyways because we can't wait to see each other.  Thank you,  @akesangel, for all the scans that has helped us throughout this journey. You're a blessing.
