Thank you! We have the same NOA1 date. :D Our received date is January 19th. We're getting close! I don't expect to get a response from them in the next 1-2 weeks, though, as there are still untouched Nov and Dec cases. I do, however, hope that we get our NOA2 before the end of May.

Good luck to you as well. Do let us know when you get your NOA2 so we can all celebrate! :D

I'm so confused .. I thought they're already working on January cases. I was hoping to leave my country by end of May, beginning of June :(

They started working on January cases but are not done with November or December yet. They don't treat files in a logical order unfortunately.

I don't want to be pessimistic but end of June, beginning of July seems more likely for you... My NOA1 date is January 18th but I'm not counting on having my visa before the end of June. :/

Good luck to you !!

I wouldn't set my expectations that high. There's a good chance we will get our NOA2 around May. June will be the latest, I think. It seems impossible for us to leave our countries in June as the whole medical, interview and visa release time won't take only 2 weeks.. Idk how fast the process is in your country, but my friend left our country three or four months after they got their NOA2. She was interviewed almost two months after her NOA2 date since she had to set an appointment and get her medical done, as well as complete other requirements.

Hi everyone!

Im relatively new, however I decided to join visa journey after my U.S fiancé and I filed the k-1visa petition together on January 3, 2017. I received my noa1 on January 24, 2017 and just received my noa2 April 3, 2017. Good news. It's been approved 🤗🤗🤗😊. I'm really excited and nervous at the same time. My U.S fiancé hasn't opened the letter yet to find out what's next since he has been here in Canada for the weekend. Here's to waiting until he opens it for the next steps😄

As we all know, the timeline varies from person to person. Certain factors like RFEs, country of origin, or even luck can affect one's timeline. But if you'd like to know the average processing times of each stage in your application, you can check this page:

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

I don't think it's possible to get your visa a month after you get your NOA2 as you'll still have to wait for your case number, submit forms, get your medical done, set up your interview appointment, and complete other requirements that may vary from country to country.

Sorry if my English is bad, by the way. I've been up for almost 24 hours now. Anyway, the page should give you an idea of how long it'll take for you to get your visa once you get your NOA2.

To be clear he is the U.S petitioner and I am the Canadian beneficary.

Yeah-it's the worst. =(

(To be clear, I'm the U.S. petitioner. My fiancé is living in the UK, although he is French.)

Yah I was nervous about it but sometimes patience is key. You should be hearing back within a week or 2. My approval came a week or so quicker than we had expected. Good luck though 😊😊

I am from Canada too- New Brunswick, but I'm a February filer. Hopefully I will be hearing back in another month or so.  Congrats on your NOA2!

Yes- my received date was February 14th and my NOA1 was the 16th.  I am moving to Dallas, texas, how about you? Not sure how my body is going to adapt to all that heat! Lol
