I sent in my package on the 18th, received notification it has been accepted by USCIS on the 20th, then received my NOA1 hard copy on the 24th. Which date should I look at for my NOA1?

Hi, in your NOA 1 hardcopy, should have stated "On January ..., 2017, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WAC......., and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case."

the date they received is the date Akes uses to scan the case status daily.

Well it depends, the received date is what is used for the scan, so the day USCIS actually received your petition (the date you sent it does not matter). The timeline uses the NOA1 date, which is indicated on your paper, sometimes this is not the same day as the day you actually received it, as the mail can have some delays. This is my understanding.

Hey guys, I'm a March filer and I was hoping someone here could answer some of my questions regarding the updates @AkesAngel has been posting for you guys (im so sorry to hear about your cat, 19 years is very impressive age!).

 

Bare with me if I sound a little simple, I'm new to all of this!

 

On the spreadsheets, I'm seeing things like Case Rejected because I did not sign my form and Incorrect fee. Basically what I'm asking is if these case were actually rejected for these reasons? Surely that would just result in an RFE?? 

and also, the date listed in column C, I'm assuming that's the receive/NOA1 date? I'm seeing a few that are April dates that say they have already been approved...

I'm so sorry if I sound overly simple here but am I correct in thinking that some cases that were received in March/April have already been given an NOA2? how??

K-1 Visa

3/17/17 - I-129F Mailed from London

3/28/17 - Arrived at Lewisville, TX

4/03/17 - Received a letter from USCIS stating they received an empty envelope (??) attached with the envelope we sent the package in

4/07/17 - Check Cashed and NOA1 email (I guess the rest of the package got to them)

4/15/17 - NOA1 hard copy received (Rcv date 4/03/17, NOA1 date 4/06/17)

9/1/17 - NOA2 Approval via online tracker

9/6/17 - NOA2 Hardcopy received

9/18/17 - Called NVC and received case number

9/20/17 - Case Arrived at Embassy

10/12/17 - Medical
