Is 68 approved the total for January or just for that day?

also see 0 RFE's makes you wonder if they are picking the easy ones out to get them finished and done

68 is the total number of cases approved on April 5th

Jan Totals

Approved = 152 Cases

Received (Pending Approval) = 2862 Cases

All good news. USCIS almost doubled the number of cases approved from yesterday ( 04/04/17 Approved = 84   04/05/17 Approved = 152)

Our best day yet!!!!!

Thanks Akes for your updates and allowing us all to see positive progress each day.

Google Sheets hides STATUS Column "D" and SHORT STATUS shown in Column "E" Duplicating the Total Count of 152 of Approved Cases.
Using cntl F and word search "approved" the total count doubles. This is because column D and E includes the word "approved".

I import Google Sheets into MS Excel. When you do this Column "D" Status appears otherwise your duplicating the count 304/2 = 152
Total Received Cases (Pending Approval) = 2862 Cases
The Total of 3624 Includes other reasons; Rejected, RFE, Updated Names, etc.

I'll differ to AkesAngel since he does all of the downloads for us January Filers from the USCIS website using his I phone.

I have an Android and the app does not allow you to run the stats.

Hi! I'm not sure I understood correctly, are you asking about how to get police certificates from countries youve lived in?
If that's what youre wondering, you get it usually from the police authorities/Interior Ministry of the country. You will also have to go through a thorough medical before your interview, but that is not connected with the crime register certificate that you get from the police.

Sorry, I didn't frame my question well. I am from India, and want to know how to get the police certificate. Should I just go to the local police authorities or is there a procedure to it. :)

Ok I have the app as well and you're right it doesn't. I guess I do not know how to use the USCIS site either, because I tried to find the spreadsheets on the site and I couldn't. Thank you I will keep trying to figure it out.

I found this article for you, which has pretty good instructions. It's from the Canadian Immigration site, but it's the same thing - just instructions on how/where to get that certificate. It's not specific to Canadian immigration. Here you go: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/india.asp

Thanks for the link. :)

Yes, all documents have to be in English

To come back to this, it seems all documents do not have to be in English:

All documents not written in English, or in the official language of the country in which you are applying for a visa, must be accompanied by certified translations. The translation must include a statement signed by the translator stating that:

  • The translation is accurate, and
  • The translator is competent to translate.

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Supporting_documents.html

Given that most of us are applying in our country of birth, it would mean our documents can be in that very same language. At least this is my understanding, or am I getting this wrong?
