Hi Everybody,

I just woke up to start my day in Scotland with a million text messages from my fiance! We got our NOA2 at like 2:44am UK time. Best part is that after 3 months of waiting, my fiance is flying out to Scotland tonight and we have a massive engagement party on Saturday with all my family so it couldn't have been more perfect timing! Genuinely the first time an email has made me cry haha!!

This forum keeps you sane honestly, my anxiety has been eating me alive and it's been so nice just to know you're not alone in how you feel. I'll make sure and update my timeline every step of the way and if any UK, particularly Scottish people have any questions about the process please feel free to reach out and I'll try my best to help!

Lots of love and positive vibes for the rest of you <3

Yaz xoxox

I'm  so happy to hear that Yaz! And I know exactly what you mean with the email made you cry. lol

Enjoy the relaxed and happy upcoming time with your fiance. So will I when I will see my love in a week :)

Congratulations Yaz!

Hey guys, One question. What is the process for police verification, I am from India. Are there going to be some specific way (like medical) I got to figure it out?

I found this article for you, which has pretty good instructions. It's from the Canadian Immigration site, but it's the same thing - just instructions on how/where to get that certificate. It's not specific to Canadian immigration. Here you go: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/india.asp

01/18/17 - I-129F mailed to Lewisville, TX

01/25/17 - NOA1

05/05/17 - NOA2 (100 days from NOA1)

05/19/17 - NVC received and case number assigned

05/26/17 - Case left NVC, status 'In Transit'

05/30/17 - Medical

05/31/17 - Consulate received

07/13/17 - Interview, APPROVED!

07/21/17 - Visa in hand

07/22/17 - POE Newark, successful

08/02/17 - Married

08/23/17 - AOS filed (incl. EAD and AP)

08/31/17 - NOA1 date on AOS packet

09/21/17 - Biometrics appt

10/16/17 - Online tracker says 'Ready for Interview'

11/09/17 - EAD and AP approved

11/16/17 - EAD/AP combo card arrived

12/19/17 - Green card interview

12/22/17 - RFE received (medical had been lost)

01/23/18 - Green card in production

Hi! I'm not sure I understood correctly, are you asking about how to get police certificates from countries youve lived in?
If that's what youre wondering, you get it usually from the police authorities/Interior Ministry of the country. You will also have to go through a thorough medical before your interview, but that is not connected with the crime register certificate that you get from the police.

India's process is actually pretty complex as each region has their own process and own cert needed (if you lived in more than 1). The linked document above is useful (thanks @NatO23).

Thats just the approvals for April 5th, yes. 2 of them were approvals after RFE I think, as "only" 66 new cases are touched.

And yes it may be that they are running thru the easy ones first ... who knows

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know! :(

Sorry if I confused anyone! I'll stick to just getting info here rather than dispensing advice from now on! :D
