K-1 Visa CAN be expedite if you meet 1 of criteria requirement on USCIS website and military status is one of them. My case was experdited due to my military service but not about deployment, for any reason that you request for experdite just attach all documents as evidence and you will be good. My NOA1 was 23 January and RFE mailed on 08 March , I sent my response back on 17 March and USCIS received by 21, now I am waiting for their decision. Once again, if you think you meet their expedite requirement, just call them and ask for experdite request, it will not hurt your case but make sure you have all support document because they will send you email with Attention Code and Fax number when they ask for evidence ( this is not RFE and your case status will stay as Received )

Is it also related to former soldiers?

Fairly low, providing you answer the questions truthfully and in a way that is consistent with your approved petition. Make sure you have all of your supporting evidence, checklist documents, signed paperwork, etc, and you'll be fine!

I am worried about this too. And my fiancé is pregnant with a big rock on her finger.

Tell your fiance that he need a letter from his command state that he is currently serving in military ( on the letter have to have his full name, date he entered, date he will be discharge, current pay grade, line item explain why he need to be expedite i.e from <day> to <day> he have to attend training and cannot take leave or using email, phone or sothing like that ), copy of his ID ( front and back ), other statement from whoever in charge his division ( same as 1st letter ), all documents have to be sign and date. But you have to call USCIS to request expedite first.

Good luck

So, I was looking in the February filers, just to see what was going on and I see that there are 2 February filers that have already had RFE sent.

I'm wondering if they have someone just pre-screening the packets for obvious things, or if these people had asked for an expedited processing.  I know that several people did not receive RFE's until their anticipated adjudication dates.

Hi all a quick you question as hopefully our files will be getting checked soon .

With the I-134 my fiancé has to prove she can support us. I know she has to complete it after we receive the noa 2, and I need to bring it to my interview last.  My question is this.

Does she need to submit it to anyone like the US embassy. Or does she simply complete it and send it to me with the documents for me to provide at my interview.

I just want to make sure we are on top of things.

Thank you in advance

She'll need to complete it and also gather the required supporting documents listed in the form instructions, and then just send you the originals to take to the interview. She won't need to submit it anywhere as strictly it's for you to prove you're meeting the requirements for approval!

in the complete list of all filed k1 for feb, there are a lot of cases already marked "rejected" for things like wrong forms, not signed, wrong fee etc. so I assume that they do have people who pre-screen.

Hey guys hoping you can help.

I know each country is different but it's good to get an idea. I am from England and went into my doctors to obtain my immunization records. I haven't received my noa2 yet but want to be prepared.

The woman there was not too helpful and printed me off some internal screen shot showing them. The internal screen shot doesn't even have the name of the surgery on it that printed them.

My question is what should it look like. The woman at the doctors said she wasn't too sure if there was much more information she could give and was not familiar with the requirement to have them for a visa.

My worry is that I go to the medical with these internal screen shots and get told they are not sufficient as they need to be on headed paper or for some other reason .

Does anyone know? Also if any other england applicants, how did you request them?

Thanks
