Hi, I noticed you had NOA 2 for over 3 month now so is your interview 8/30?

Why the delay?

Good luck

I meant to ask this a while ago, but was Thebes sputum test only for your fiancé? I know it is hard waiting. My fiancé will be here on the 30th.  This last few weeks has been the hardest for waiting.

Yeah, Just my Juvy had to do the sputum. Her daughter cleared the medical fine.

Congrats on having your life together begin on the 30th. I am sure you are busy with last minute preparations. Have a great weekend and enjoy the eclipse next week

Hi everyone! I just got approved yesterday morning at the us embassy in Manila. Would like to also share my timeline and experience :)

1/11/2017 - mailed k1 petition to uscis

1/19/2017 - noa 1

4/14/2017 - noa

5/8/2017 - case created at NVC

5/19/2017 - medical at stlukes (undersputum huhu)

5/30 to 6/1 - sputum collection (was there 4am in the morning to fall in line lol and jeez there are ppl who are way earlier than me)

5/5/2017 - pulmonary evaluation (negative!!) hehe culture will be due on aug 1 so i set my interview aug 5 but something happened tsk

7/14/2017 - slec called telling me my culture will be released on aug 10 instead of aug 1 and i emailed them to know why. They said that my culture samples were 'redigested" meaning there was an overgrowth of bacteria other than tb so they have to repeat some process i guess its their protocol lol grr soI had to move my interview to aug 22 :(

8/14/2017 - Vaccination! means i finally passed the medical yay and i resched my interview to aug 18 (thats the earliest slot available at the time)

8/18/2017 - Interview day! APPROVED! My sched is at 7:10 and im done at around 8am. It was so smooth and super easy. Final interview with the american consul only lasted around 5 mins.

Goodluck to those who are still waiting. Patience is really a virtue on this one so hang in there you guys! Been a tough journey since we have to deal with this distance bs lol but at the end of all of this its all worth it. Im flying to florida on sept 8 to be with my fiance forever <3 been 6 six months since i last saw him huuu but finally just 3 more weeks <3

xxjoyxx

Thanks and congratulations!!!

I also had my interview without problems and am waiting for the actual visa until yesterday when my USC fiance received the NVC letter with my name misspelled! Is your letter all right?

Hi I just checked the NVC Letter and my name is spelled correctly. Maybe you can call or email your consulate to make sure they have the correct spelling of your name for your visa.

Thanks for sharing! Wrong name on visa is what I was afraid! Nobody in the consulate mentioned a thing about my name. I just hope emailing them would not result in further delay. But yeah, I should contact them on Monday :)
