Successful POE today at Montreal airport. Soon I will be with my love, few more hours only :)

Congrats @PR&PR. We are happy you finally be with your loved ones.

My fiance called NVC today but they haven't received it yet and said that it could take up to 6 weeks. Our received date is July 31st. Should we wait until next month?. Or should we try again to call next week?.

My understanding NVC will take from 2-4 weeks. Many people stArt calling them daily after 2 weeks have passed to get there case number. My case is also at NVC waiting for a case number

Good morning!

We still dont have a Case number from NVC since our approval date last May 31 2017. Its been 10 weeks already and the validation of our NOA2 is Sept.  Im so worried and we dont know what to do. I kept calling everyweek  they always say "Your petition is not in the system"

anyone here same situation as me? Or NVC had a problem?

Its so frustrating and upsetting 😢😢😢

NOA1 January 20 2017

NOA2 May 31 2017

Case number: ?????????

May be you can call the consulate in your country?they may have your case already. I   have a friend their case was already at the consulate, but they missed their case until called them.

I would keep calling them, it's not like they have records of when you call. So you don't lose anything, but yeah definitely wait 2-3weeks, so you don't lose your time.

Hey Guys!

my NOA1 was January 10th and we received an RFE on July 22nd (they received our response on July 25th)

I think they must hate us! Haha

Anyway, I've seen some comments regarding an RFE deadline or a case deadline (I don't really know!) Can anyone shed some light on this?? I'm getting impatient.

Also - should our case status change online first or should we receive the hard copy via mail?? I feel so far behind everyone else!!!! Is anyone else waiting for their RFE to be responded to??

They should respond to your reply to their RFE within 60 days, ie, the normal processing time for RFE.

My case tracker updated on the 61st day after I sent an online enquiry for outside normal processing time on the 60th day, and I received NOA2 in email at the same time. Letter came in a week or so.

Hey don't worry, I'm a Feb filer and got an RFE too, not to scare you but we have been waiting almost 4 weeks for our approval after the RFE. I cant believe they leave it so long before requesting more evidence. Out of curiosity what was your RFE for? Ours was for missing the box regarding criminal record.

Hi there,May I ask a question about AOS here?

I want to know do we need to fill in the form supplement A to form I-485?thanks

Here is the best place for your AOS questions.... http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/7-adjustment-of-status-green-card-from-k1-and-k3-family-based-visas/

But, no if you are filing AOS from K1 you will not use supplement A for I-485
