Oh my goodness! That's a long time! I hope I don't have to wait that long!! Probs will though! I had to wait 7 months for them to give us an RFE!!

I know !! I'm not sure why it's taking so long. My RFE was for not checking the box that said I haven't committed a crime.

I do not want to call or inquire online until after the RFE deadline of Aug 14 passes. As it turned out I needed the max time to find all the documents they needed.   I don't want to waste my chance for help from Congressperson unless I really, really need it. My plan is to wait until September before I make noise. We are so powerless in this process.

PS: People, please fill out your Timelines so VJ community can better understand your Posts.

I don't understand why people thing they are "wasting their chance for help from congressperson", you can request for help anytime whenever. We did it twice and they were really nice and helpful. Both times we got answer before it even made a difference and they were nice about it saying it happens like that a lot. We were past deadlines, made a request and got answers 2-3 days after, before our case was even assigned to the congress. All that being said, they are the only help we can get, and asking them now is not wasting your chance, because they will help again another time if you need it. All you are doing is delaying the process when they could actually help you out now and maybe make it faster ;)

Thankfully, today USCIS updated My Case with an entry that they are going to continue working on my 129f again so I am expecting NOA2 next week as their own deadline of Aug 14 is Monday.

I believe I should not resort to Congress/Rep unless I absolutely need them to intervene about something I cannot figure out myself. We have a long road ahead once our case leaves the Service Center. Plus  USCIS has been 'touching' my case and my RFE Reply was piecemeal.  I  wanted at least 60 days from the  last touch to pass by  so the burden is on USCIS not me (based on the My Case instructions).

Thanks for the reassurance about not hesitating to call though.

RFE for Divorce Judgment (easy) and Imbra Convictions (I answered Yes and then  "On a separate piece of paper...").  Damn confusing instructions!  I had several misdemeanor convictions for drugs sent all my COC's in except for two (2) I was unaware of.  They were not reported on my State's  Crim Record Report that I relied on for Imbra compliance (1 was Sealed via NY's marijuana decriminalization law & 1 Unclassified VTL misdemeanor 35 & 20 years ago).  It was only by a chance encounter with the Court Clerk that I figured out what was missing.

Well today our staus on CEAC tracker went to READY, not sure what this means, but it sounds very good! We had to supply my W-2, and they had it for 3 weeks and no word anywhere until the staus changed today! We are very happy and hope this means they are mailing the Visa? Thank you all!
