Im excited to get my visa today:

7/17: interview approved

7/17: Ap status

7/18: issued

7/22: got my visa

 

It took 5 days after the intervew

Yes the email would say that I can go pick up my visa. (I didn't pay the extra to have it sent to my house)

Wishing you all all the best and the best of luck in the interview, just be honest and there really is no reason to be nervous! lol I was a wreck for the week for no reason... lol 

and I owe all of you a great thank you for all the chats, advice and information throughout this journey.

just want to share what happened during my interview date: 

 

around 7am in the morning i arrived in the manila embassy and waited for my schedule time interview 10:40 am the guard check my documents: DS160 and passport and put sticker in the barcode afterwards i went to the pre screening and the consulate who interviewed me was a filipina she was a little bit serious and it made me alittle bit nervous he ask me documents Ds160 passport and also my mrv slip, cenomar, nbi, birth cert and then she ask my name and date of birth and ask my petitioners name afterwards i went to finger scanning and this time its an american consule he was very strict regarding the finger scanning and then i went to the last interviewer and that was the american girl consulate she was so nice and friendly and she didnt asked lots of questions she just asked my petitioners name and also my bday and my name and then she asked wen did he came in the philipines and were did we met and then she told me YOU ARE APPROVED!!! congratulations 😍😍😍  im sooo happy coz i passed the interview thanks to this forum january filers 2017 i129f

Question for those who received their visas already- my last date updated moved from July 21st(interview date) to July 24th .... and it still says ready.

 

once it says issued am I supposed to get a call from DHL for pick up? (I signed up for pick up) 

im curious of the back end process..
